Beautiful and evocative visit to the rock churches and sunset view over Matera from the Murgia. A discovery through the stories of Gabriella, our guide who is always available and knowledgeable.
A nice experience to get to know the Sassi. The places visited are fascinating and the guide who accompanied us, Mr. Giuseppe, was very good at telling us about them, also through his own direct experiences and the stories of "his elders" (from a very young age he was already acting as a "guide" for the few tourists who happened by those parts, almost accidentally, and the Sassi area was still in a state of abandonment).
