I enjoy learning about hauntings and historical events when I visit places. This self-guided walking tour was well done. It was easy to navigate the streets with the map along with all the vocal cues. The walk was enjoyable and a nice way to spend an hour and a half. I extended my tour by taking extra time to visit the insides of some of the buildings and it was easy to pause and resume the tour when I got back to it. The voice over was engaging. I recommend this to anyone who would like to experience a different flavor of Chicago lore.

Worth every penny, great detail on locations
It was great, easy to follow and great detail. The only issue I had that was disappointing was that at the Palmer house, it was mentioned that room 660 and 725 are haunted but the 6th and 7th floors are both meeting room spaces, no rooms. I don't know if a different part of the hotel had rooms on those floors or those rooms have been replaced with the meeting room spaces on both floors or if those rooms are on higher floors, which wouldn't make sense of course. Alas, it was disappointing not to find those rooms. Overall, it was a tour worth every penny and I ate at the Exchequer restaurant mentioned on the tour and it was delicious!

Fun and entertaining tour! ;)
Wonderful historical tour. I throughly enjoyed the narrator’s voice and descriptions. The logistics were perfection, ends in the south loop, I highly recommend and will look for more tours with this company.

This walking tour made my afternoon in Chicago an absolutely awesome time.
I had an absolutely awesome time on this walking tour. It was super well researched and historical fascinating. Stories from many different periods of time in Chicago’s past, with a wide variety of topics.
I will absolutely be checking in for tours with Greg from walkintours at every city I visit now.
It was such a fun and captivating way to learn about the city, and the narrations, audio engineering, and sound design is top quality and was absolutely fantastic.
Thanks so much for putting this together, I loved it.

Fun and informative.
The stories were great and informative. The narrator was fun to listen to. Lots of walking meant great exercise.
