東富士を通り越して伏見稲荷大社へ

山頂からお城を眺める 伏見稲荷の頂上から息を呑むような眺めを楽しんだ後は 秀吉が築城し家康が再建した城で、伏見城の再建後、元禄年間までに桃の木が植えられ、一帯は桃山と呼ばれるようになり、やがて伏見城は桃山城、伏見桃山城と呼ばれるようになった。

- このハイキングはそれほど難しくはなく、全長約 7 km です。しかし、それは簡単な散歩ではなく、ある程度の努力が必要です。歩行が困難な方や体調がすぐれない方にはお勧めできません。定期的に停車しますが、必要に応じて追加の停車も可能です。
- 滑りやすい場合がありますので、グリップ力のある靴でお越しください。
- 山歩きのため、蚊や虫がいる可能性がありますので、長袖、長ズボンの着用を強くお勧めします。
- このツアーの旅程には、車椅子やベビーカーではアクセスできない場所がいくつか含まれています。
- 日本の夏は非常に暑く、湿度が高いので、熱中症を防ぐために水分を持参し、帽子をかぶることをお勧めします。

Before our hike, we decided to check out the main train early and walked around and thought we saw most of it, but after meeting up with our tour guide, he showed us so much more we didn’t expect he shared the backstory behind the Japanese religions, the details of the Shinto gods and why the shrines are designed the way that they are. We felt like we got an awesome experience that was very personalized for the price. Our tour guide was very kind and down to earth and asked a lot of questions about us and our travels and it was really nice to have a conversation with someone while hiking. Well worth it!!!
We were delighted with this excursion to Fushimi Inari in the company of Matt and Kazu. We really liked the route taken, we were able to enjoy the famous Torii away from the flow of tourists and in a really nice atmosphere!

This was by far my favorite tour of Japan. Josh was great with my kids, and we all learned so much! It was a demanding but rewarding hike. We were able to talk about nature, culture, and religion all while be playful and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Had a wonderful time with Akira, he kept us amused and entertained the whole tour. He gave us all sorts of insights and answered all the questions that we had for him. The walk itself was great, taking us up into the temple from lesser known paths and therefore no wannabe influencers to be seen until right at the end of the tour where we inevitably ran into the crowds at Fushimi Inari.
