広島は美しく、魅力的で有意義な場所がたくさんあります。 実際、時間が詰まっていると旅行の計画が難しいほど多い。 このツアーは、広島の最も関連性の高いスポットを、わずか1日で訪れることができるよう特別に企画されたものです。 広島シティセンターでは、縮景園の庭園弁や広島城跡、平和記念公園や平和資料館に立ち寄り、まちのさまざまな側面を体験していただきます。 その後、本土からそれほど遠くない島、宮島へ世界遺産航路のフェリーで行くというユニークな体験ができます 日本三景の一つと昔から言われてきた息をのむような島、宮島。 島自体はかなり狭いですが、どこか異国の名勝が溢れ、どこにも負けないリラックスした雰囲気です。

このツアーは広島駅を午前9時に出発し、観光案内の看板の下にある新幹線ゲートでガイドが出迎えます。 ガイドが広島駅を出て、その日の最初の目的地である祝渓園へと向かいながら、広島の街についての簡単な情報をお伝えします。 庭園内では、茶室や橋、丘陵を眺めながらメインの池をゆっくりと散策しながら、最高の撮影スポットに立ち寄ります。 また、ガイドが日本庭園とその主な設計原則を徹底的に説明します。 歩きながら、江戸時代の縮景園の造営や「ミニチュア景観」の概念、400年にわたるさまざまな復元について学びます。
庭園の後は、次の場所である広島城跡まで歩いて行きます。 ガイドが遺跡内の主な場所へ案内し、遺跡の歴史、目的、意義などを説明します。 天守閣や二の丸の囲い、広島護国神社などがその位置です。 広島城を事例にすることで、日本の歴史や城下町の発展について理解を深めることができます。 遺跡を歩きながら、ガイドが日本の繁栄した都市、江戸時代の生活がどんなものだったか想像するのに役立つでしょう。 次は広島平和記念公園内にある原爆ドームです。 この建物は1915年（大正4年）に広島県の物産の展示販売を目的として落成したもので、爆心地近くに唯一残された建造物であった。 この次の場所まで歩いていくと、ガイドが第二次世界大戦や爆撃に至るまでの出来事について歴史的な背景を教えてくれます。
宮島に行く前の最後の目的地は平和祈念資料館です。 館内では、被爆者の遺品を見学することができます。 8月6日の出来事、その後の数々の苦難とトラウマ、そして究極の復興の歩みを、展示品を通して紹介していきます。 ツアーガイドは、さまざまな展示室に入る前に、いくつかのコンテキストを提示しますが、ほとんどの場合、これは静かにこの歴史的な出来事について学び、振り返る機会となります。
次に、ガイドが美術館の近くにある桟橋まで案内し、そこから宮島行きのフェリーに乗ります。 このフェリーの所要時間は約45分で、ガイドが途中の関連スポットを案内します。 宮島桟橋に到着後、最初の目的地である表参道商店街まで歩いて行きます。 複数のショップやレストランが立ち並ぶこの通りは、昼食をとったり、おいしい軽食を食べたり、お土産を購入したりするのに最適な場所です。 ここでは、宮島でのガイドツアー開始前に、約2時間の自由時間をお楽しみください。 島の周りにたくさんいる鹿の写真を撮ったり、海辺をちょっと散歩したりするのもいいかもしれません！
次は千畳閣パビリオンです。 実はこの社殿は、一度も工事が終わらず、現在も未完成のまま残っている神社です。 この神社は広々としていて、出入り口がきちんとなく、意図せず四方から美しい景色が望める建物になっているのがユニークです。 ガイドが神社の歴史や、神社の中にあるさまざまな要素についてご説明します。 また、島の美しい景色を眺めながらリラックスして過ごす機会もあります。
続いて厳島神社に向かいます。 ガイドが神道（日本固有の宗教）や神社の歴史についてご案内します。 寺院を進むと、さまざまな拝殿や「浮神社」の独特な建築、瀬戸内海に浮かぶ象徴的な大鳥居などを見学できます。 厳島神社からそう遠くない場所にある真言宗の名門寺院、大聖院へ。 境内のいたるところで無数の仏像を見ることができ、行く先々でさまざまな像が出迎えてくれます。 また、境内には複数の堂宇が点在しているが、四国八十八箇所霊場を代表する88体の仏像は大師堂ほど美しく、息をのむような美しさはない。 大聖院でのガイドツアー終了後、広島への帰路につきます

Issabela was fantastic. Very organized and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Hiroshima. She was also accommodating because of being a senior citizen (70) and limited walking abilities.

Our tour guide Isabella Melendez was amazing! She was super energetic and knowledgeable about Hiroshima and Miyajima. She made the tour fun and informative, sharing interesting stories and facts about each place. Isabella's passion for the area was contagious, and she went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. If you're visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima, I highly recommend booking a tour with her. You'll have an unforgettable time!
Isabelle was a first class tour guide. Knowledgeable and friendly she provided information and insights into Hiroshima. We appreciated the empathetic manner with which she introduced us to the memorial museum, cenotaph and peace gardens. The trip to Miyajima was fabulous. We loved the naughty wild deer and the view of the floating Tori gate was great. We only had one full day in Hiroshima and we were so glad we booked the Snow Monkeys tour as we felt we really got to see and experience the city. Thank you Isabelle!

I went for a solo trip with the guide, Isabella, and she was amazing at showing the best highlights of Hiroshima and Miyajima all in one day. I particularly enjoyed the history of Hiroshima city. I didn’t expect much of Miyajima, however I now realise it’s definitely a must see place for everyone visiting the area. All the sights in Hiroshima were in a comfortable walking distance and the stories along the way were very entertaining. Thereafter, taking a boat tour on the Ota river to get to the Miyajima island was a beautiful and relaxing experience. I had some delicious oysters and okonomiyaki on the island before resuming the tour to see the shrines, temples, the O-torii and of course the local deers. Isabella is a positive, organized, entertaining and knowledgeable guide. She also took some great pictures of me for my memory of this beautiful trip.
