It is challenging to find the meeting point as the Viator app meeting location takes u to the front of the train station. I would strongly recommend clearly stating to meet in front of the McDonalds by track #1. It would also be helpful to have the person that we are to meet to have a sign and hold it up so he can be found. Other than a stressful time finding the initial meeting point, the tour itself was great.
Enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. Giovanni was amazing and kept us organized. Very pleased.
Great day trip out of Rome to see the Amalfi Coast and visiting Postiano first and then Amalfi. Train ride is easy and has lovely views of the countryside. You are met at the train station by a guide who helps you onto the train and then at Salerno met by another guide who is with you for the day. We had Sarah and she was so lovely and made sure everything was good with us all and explained and answered questions so well. It is a long day but so glad we did it to have a complete change from the city.
Despite being 30 minutes early for the tour we missed it because the meeting point instructions are not clear at all. Do not do this tour. I messaged the operator many times but they do not respond. I called Viator but they can't help. I hope I get my money back on this very expensive tour. Viator and the tour operator need to give a precise meeting point. It is not good enough.

The meeting point instructions provided on your Viator voucher are incredibly precise and clear: "inside Roma Termini train station, next to Track n.1 in front of Caffè Vergnano." All the other participants of the tour read these exact instructions and arrived at the meeting point without any issues, and the tour departed regularly. It is unfair to blame the tour operator when the specific location was clearly stated on your ticket. Regarding your claims about communication: our team is always active, but we cannot guide guests who do not check their documentation beforehand. While we understand your frustration at missing a high-quality experience, the responsibility for checking the voucher details lies with the traveler. We provided all the necessary tools and a highly specific landmark for a smooth meetup, just as we do for all our daily departures. Best regards, Davide
Though the journey was long, it is worth it. I would never have been able to plan a day trip like this by myself. Our tour guide Nuncia was very knowledgeable and kind. It made for a beautiful day even though it was 1000°.
Giovanni was wonderful! Super knowledgeable and passionate about the Amalfi coast. Made sure everyone was comfortable, welcomed, and safe within the group. Was an amazing end to our first-time Italy trip.
