In May of 2026 I took my daughter and granddaughter on a two-week trip to Italy. Over the years, I have visited Italy several times. However, at 81, I could not consider driving or toting my luggage on and off trains over cobblestone streets and up insanely irregular stone steps. The Joe Banano driver picked us up at our hotel in Rome for a private limo drive to Positano. I agreed to my daughters wish to visit this area of Italy before I realized that there is no train to Positano. We included a two-hour tour at the Pope's summer home and at Herculaneum, not possible when traveling by public train or bus. The driver was charming, spoke perfect English and added interesting details and information about Italy, making the trip charming and comfortable.
