Our guide was very knowledgeable and seemed very passionate about teaching us everything there was to know about the cathedral. If we had walked through there alone with no guide, nothing would’ve been of any significance.
WARNING, WARNING ABSOLUTELY NO FASTTRACK ABOUT THESE BILLETS. THAT IS A SCAM!!!!!!! At the church there is no Fast Track entrance and you are allowed to stand in the regular queue. We were in line for over 40 minutes on an equal footing with everyone else who had bought a normal ticket. Waste of money.
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the cathedral has two entrances for ticket holders and one general entrance for visitors without tickets. With every booking, we clearly indicate which entrance ticket holders must use. If you join the general queue instead of the designated ticket-holder entrance, you will unfortunately experience the same waiting time as visitors without tickets. We always recommend reading the instructions provided with your booking carefully before your visit. If anything is unclear, our team is available via WhatsApp or phone and is happy to guide you to the correct entrance to ensure you can use your priority access.
The booking system screwed up our entry time and Viator provided virtually no assistance. And when we went to the Duomo in late afternoon, there was no line anyways so the tickets ended up being a complete waste of money. Would not book again.

Regarding the Duomo entry, the priority tickets are designed to provide quicker access by allowing visitors to bypass the often very long general admission queue. While it is true that queues can occasionally be much shorter later in the afternoon, this can vary significantly depending on the day and visitor numbers, and unfortunately cannot be guaranteed in advance. The Florence Duomo and Campanile are spectacular! It is a very crowded area so it was a bit confusing figuring out where to go and exactly what we had tickets for. The person taking tickets said we did not have a "Skip the Line" ticket, but that is what we ordered. I highly recommend climbing the Campanile, but it is a LOT of steps and the stairways get very narrow.
It was my first tour. I asked for advise in the ti ticket office and showed them my voucher. The reply was we did not sell you that. It was raining heavily and windy. We did not know what to do. We missed the tour. I do think it would have been helpful if our guide rang us as he was able to What's app us. The next day we understood the procedure and we were successful in getting g the tour.
This was a a scam, there was no skip the line line. Paid $40+ for no reason and entry is free to the duomo
It was OK - I don't know if it was worth booking it through a third party - tickets are readily available at the location, and you don't have to watch the time and adjust your plans to a previously planned reservation, you can just buy tickets when it's convenient for you in the moment
Fantastic experience, must see. It is absolutely stunning, so much history, it’s fascinating. Highly recommend!
We were scammed. I purchased three tickets for the Duomo the evening before the date and aviator never showed up. Then a couple were at the Duomo at the same scheduled time and infmed me that the tour was canceled, even before Viator took my money for the tour. I was as scammed and want my refund.
This is an entrance ticket only, no guides. Other than visiting and seeing the Duomo, really learned nothing about it
