Great way to see David and skip the line on a busy day. Gayla was a great tour guide, passionate and knowledgeable about the history which made us understand all of the pieces in the museum better. Definitely refined a guided over a self-guided tour.
My husband and I booked our tickets the day before and on the day, we were lucky enough to get two spots on the earlier time to what we had booked. The team were very friendly on arrival, we knew who would be our tour guide and were given headphones as part of our tour which was really helpful, as it would have been hard to hear otherwise. Antonio was knowledgable, encouraged us to ask questions and overall a fantastic guide. He gave us time to have pictures with David, explained and explored the finer details which we wouldn’t have known of or about without being on the tour. I was definitely recommend especially by booking with Viator. Thank you for a memorable visit!

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Galya, during our visit to the Accademia Gallery in Florence. She made our visit to see Michelangelo’s David truly special and memorable. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating facts and stories about Michelangelo, his life, his artistic vision, and the creation of David. Her explanations brought the sculpture and its history to life and helped us appreciate the masterpiece on a much deeper level. She was engaging, friendly, and passionate about Florence and its incredible art and history. We really enjoyed the tour and learned so much from her. I highly recommend Galya to anyone visiting Florence who wants to experience the Accademia Gallery with an excellent guide!
