Very informative, Rosa was a wonderful guide, she was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. We had a wonderful time the tour was very personal like being shown around by a friend!

Piazza Della Repubblica
フィレンツェ最大の広場の1つで、ローマ時代からの中心都市です。 広場の中心には古代ローマ時代の大通り、カルド通りとデクマヌス通りの合流点を象徴する、街のへそである「豊かさの柱」がある。 広場には、古くから文人や知識人の集会所「ジウベ・ロッセ」など、フィレンツェで最も人気の店やクラブが今も残っている。
Piazza della Signoria
現在シニョリーア広場が占める地域は、昔からこの街にとって非常に重要な場所であった。 中世には洗礼堂、初期キリスト教のバシリカ、そして現在ヴェッキオ宮殿が建っている場所には刑務所として使われていた建物がこの地域に建てられた。 10世紀になると、市中に大きな塔が建てられるようになると、古い建物は石を回収するために取り壊されるか、新しい建物に組み込まれた。 シニョリーア広場のエリアでは、ジベルリーヌ・ウベルティ家の塔の近くにパラッツォ・デイ・プリオリが建設されました。 今日、立派なピアッツァでは、シニョリーア宮殿に加えて、フィレンツェの最も重要な出来事と結びついた数多くの彫像を鑑賞することができます。
Ponte Vecchio

The Happy Accident
A very Happy Accident is the best way I can describe our tour with Rosa. Our travel agent seriously goofed. He promised stuff that wasn’t included and set us off for a very redundant tour that we had already taken earlier in the day. Rosa didn’t miss a beat after the discovery of our agents mistake. She simply asked, “what do you people really want to do?” Florence was the first stop on our journey and this was our second evening there. I looked at her and asked her to show us how the people (not the tourists) of Florence eat and entertain themselves. That’s where the fun began! We went to shops, cafe’s, and restaurants. We met her friends, had drinks, and excellent food. I felt like I belonged in Florence. I made friendships with people I would love to meet again. It was the single greatest experience I had in my five country European tour and Rosa was simply exceptional! Do yourself a favor, on your first evening in a new city, take a food tour a few blocks away from the tourist zones.

A great way to see some sights at dark!
Really fun and beautiful tour…seeing Florence by night is a different viewpoint and less crowded in the streets.
