葉柳は台湾北部の海岸にある岬で、海食作用によって象徴的なクイーンズヘッドやドラゴンズヘッドなどの蜂の巣やキノコの岩が形成された葉柳ジオパークで最もよく知られています。 この地域はほとんど平坦だが日陰が少ないため、夏の間は日光浴が推奨される。
石芬の滝は基隆河が湛える台湾で最も有名な滝で、高さ約20メートル（66フィート ） 、 幅約40メートル（131フィート ） 。 展望台までは、一部日陰になり、吊り橋を渡って30分ほど歩く。
この古い通りは平渓地区の石芬駅のすぐ隣で、活発な鉄道路線が市場をまっすぐ通っている。 線路にスカイランタンを打ち上げ、列車が轟くたびに一時停止する。
かつて日本人が築き、今では歴史豊かな路地や迷路のように入り組んだ、かつての金鉱山の街に旅立った気分を味わってください。 チャーミングな通りは、ほとんどが階段でスナックや茶屋が立ち並び、かなり混雑することもあります。 (ヒント: 日没や夕暮れ時に九芬を体験したい場合は、11:00以降の出発を予約してください。これにより九芬が終点となり、夕日の景色と夕暮れの光を楽しむ時間が得られます。）

Jeffrey is terrific!!! He speaks Engllish well, takes lots of pictures to capture the beauty of every location, was very informative…. and he was a lovely person to spend the day with! Any stay in Tawain is not complete without this tour.
This was a day better than we expected. Roger was our driver/guide and very helpful and informative. This tour gave us a real chance to see some of the countryside and its huge variety of hills, sea and vegetation. The lantern creation was more fun than we expected. Start this trip by 8am to avoid the crowds. Roger knows how to keep you away from the tourist crowds. Excellent day
Great experience for a family trip. The guide was organized and well prepared. A very low stress option for parents traveling with young children.
We had the best guide and a wonderful time on this tour with Vincent Hsu. He took us on an all day adventure and was very knowledgeable! Unforgettable experience!
Our tour was truly awe inspiring from the Geopark and all the magical stone shapes, the breathtaking suspension bridges, stunning waterfalls to the adorable rainbow of sights and senses in the old towns. We really really appreciated all the kindness, wisdom and guidance of our Amazing guide Jennifer. She made our day truly special to remember 💕💕💕
Wonderful day traveling to the Geopark, coastline, waterfalls and cool little old town, Shiflen - all not too far from Taipei! We also painted a lantern to release into the air- so fun! Our guide, Jacky was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, and knew all of the great places to pose for pictures! The car was very comfortable and he had it stocked with water bottles. Bring cash for the little towns, the museum gift shops take credit cards. You may want to use an umbrella as you walk around - the sun was intense! Ask for Jacky - you won’t be disappointed!

Our guide was friendly, competent, and enthusiastic. However, she communicated only the basic information about the locations we went to. We were hoping for more history, background, and especially stories, of which there were very few. She also was a bit too enthusiastic about getting us to buy souvenirs.

Our tour guide Nicolas Ying was great. Very personable and shared interesting facts. We enjoyed all 3 of the places on the tour and would recommend it. We especially enjoyed releasing of our own lantern. Just be aware that there are a lot of stairs on this tour - to the waterfalls and in Jiufen. The Yehliu Geopark involved walking on a lot of uneven surfaces. In Jiufen, we were taken to a restaurant for lunch. The restaurant has stunning views but was expensive and the food not great. You are paying for the views. We would have preferred eating food from the different stalls in Jiufen.

You make an excellent point—the paths leading down to the Shifen waterfalls, the historic stone alleyways of Jiufen, and the coastal terrain of Yehliu Geopark do require climbing quite a few stairs and navigating uneven surfaces. Pointing this out is incredibly helpful for future travelers from the TripAdvisor community so they can come prepared with the right footwear and expectations! We are very sorry to hear that the lunch spot in Jiufen didn't live up to your expectations regarding the food and overall value. While the panoramic views in that area are spectacular, we completely understand the desire to dive into the vibrant local food culture instead. Jiufen is world-famous for its street food stalls—like the taro balls, herbal rice cakes, and tea eggs—and we always want to give our guests the freedom to explore those flavors at their own pace. I will definitely address your feedback with Nicolas and our guiding team to ensure we are prioritizing our guests' dining preferences, whether they prefer a sit-down meal or snacking through the local stalls. The weather was very wet but we loved the trip. Vincent was excellent. We loved having a private guide who knew a lot about all the place we went He gave us flexibility one does not get in a bus tour
