Ivan was a wonderful tour guide and customized the trip to the locations we wanted to go for the durations we preferred. Along the way we had to pay to use public and private restrooms using peso coins - it’s customary in Mexico and when we ran out of coins, Ivan had coins ready for us to use. He suggested a linch spot with a beautiful view and tasty food and gave us however much time we needed. He drove us to every single beautiful spot in town and drove carefully and well. Very friendly and good at speaking English. Be advised in the tour to carry a good amount of peso coins and some smaller bills because of the restrooms, museum entrance fees and tipping other guides/gatekeepers along the way. IE the gold and silver mine museum was 60 peso per per person but there was also a museum tour guide who expected a small tip. We recommend the tour for anyone who wants to get to know Guanajuato in a very custom experience deciding when to eat, which museums to visit and when to head home!
We enjoyed our visit to Guanajuato. Clean car and awesome guide. Ask for Daniel, he was very knowledgeable on all history and places.
Guides were fluent in Spanish and English. We covered all the great spots of the city. Worth it. I would go again.
