Martin was fantastic to work with. He was extremely helpful and accommodating in planning for our large group with ages ranging from 23-61- with various levels of biking experience. Everyone did great… it was easy! Martin and Michael were fantastic guides for the day… informative and fun! The landscape was breathtaking, farmer Joe and the sheepdog demonstration was fascinating. I would highly recommend!

We had such an unbelievable experience on our tour with Martin! The views of Connemara were stunning and we got to see parts of Ireland we didn’t know existed. It was a fun and safe ride - Martin was an excellent guide and we learned so much about the area. This is such a great way to see the country and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Martin also gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Galway. We will definitely do this again next time!

I brought my 3 young adult children on this amazing 6+ hour electric bike tour and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. If you’re considering an electric bike experience, definitely sign up for Martin’s full day tour. It was the highlight of our Ireland trip. My kids are still raving about it! The tour included a stop at a sheep farm for a herding demonstration. This was amazing and we got to meet the sweet herding dogs and the new puppies! Martin also took us to the most scenic spots along the ride so we could take incredible family photos. Our ride culminated with a family lunch at a great local pub. All four of us fell asleep in the comfort of Martin’s van as he drove us home. This experience included door-to-door service, which was enormously convenient. If you’re wondering if this 6 hour bike tour was strenuous, it was not. You can definitely get a good workout if you want, or you can opt for a leisurely journey. Electric biking is literally for every fitness level. Martin kept us all very safe and well-informed. He was professional, courteous, thoughtful, and kind. I would definitely recommend the FULL DAY TOUR.

Spending the day in the country with Martin made our anniversary trip to Ireland a dream come true! If you want to see the beautiful country, this is the way to experience it!! The biking is very doable with the electric bikes and Martin is the perfect tour guide!! Highly recommend!!

My wife and I had an amazing time on the couples tour with Martin! It was my first time riding an e-bike and will definitely not be the last. Martin setup a great tour of Connemara including a stop to see some sheep herding (and hold 5 day old border collies). This was definitely a highlight of our first trip to Ireland and we cannot wait to return to do another tour with Martin!

Martin created a safe and fun experience! He provided lots of information regarding the area and the turn around point was a small authentic pub. I am 5 feet tall and was able to ride the bikes without a problem.

Martin was an AMAZING guide and instructor on our E-bike adventure! He was thorough in his instructions and made sure we understood how the bike works, how to keep safe while having fun, lots of fun! "The Larches Pub" was the perfect halfway point to rest a bit and have a refreshing beverage! We were very happy that Vagabond Tours found this exciting adventure for us to experience! Simply incredible! One of the greatest days my wife and I have ever had. Do not hesitate, you should book this tour. If you have to kick something else off your itinerary, do it because it will not be as amazing as biking with Martin through Connemara. The things that we were able to see and do on this tour were truly remarkable. Connemara is breathtakingly beautiful, and we felt like we got to see so much of what makes the region special. Sure you can cover a bit more ground by van, but looking across two people through a window as you drive by is not the best way to experience what Connemara has to offer. This bike tour is. Martin was an incredible guide for us, and he will be an incredible guide for you too. The operation of every part of the trip was smooth and we were always having a great time. Pickup and dropoff could not have been simpler or more convenient. He was also great for taking photos and making sure we were comfortable during the riding portions. Also, know that the biking is very easy, and the electric assist makes moving along at a brisk pace no problem at all, even for those who may not be in great shape. You won’t be biking for 3 hours straight! There are lots of breaks and so many things to see and do along the route. If you have a chance to meet Joe and enjoy his sheepdog presentation, say yes immediately. He is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and the dogs are a joy to watch and be around. Lunch in Clonbur was also great, and we had time for a stroll around the quaint village as well. A very pleasant way to end the tour before the short trip back to Galway. I cannot rate this experience highly enough. Find a way to do it.

The Fat Bike Tour in Conamara was an amazing and must-do experience. Martin was a very wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide who was attentive in making sure everybody felt comfortable, safe and having a great time. The power assisted bikes were of high quality and an excellent choice for touring the rolling hills of Conamara. The views were breathtaking! Biking through Conamara countryside was one of our highlights with our stay in Galway and we would highly recommend it for a phenomenon experience. Martin provided a day that exceeded all expectation and left us with a long lasting memory of Ireland.
