This was a wonderful tour that gave us ample time to explore the cliffs, stopped for an efficient lunch, and included two other interesting historic stops as well. Our driver was friendly and professional.
Our tour guide Tommy was amazing. He knew a lot of history and me and my friend loved the jokes and the scenery.
Wonderful tour with a terrific guide! Thank you Gary for immersing us into Irish history and keeping smiles on our faces😁
Great tour guide! His choice to stop for lunch at a local restaurant instead of the cafeteria at the Cliffs was brilliant. We were so lucky that the heavy fog cleared and we had a prefect view of the Cliffs! Spectacular!!
The trip was to the cliffs and that was great, but bus seats were smaller than I expected from this kind of bus. The guide talked for all 4 hours of driving. It is not that it wasn't interesting, but he repeated a lot of things (I think I got it that dry stone walls are a thing in Ireland) and for non-native speakers his commentary eventually became exhausting. Perhaps they should consider headphones so those who want to listen can. Otherwise, I recommend earplugs for some people.
Hi Craig, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the Cliffs, as they are the highlight of the tour for many of our guests. Our coaches are equipped with ergonomically designed, European-manufactured seats that meet industry standards for modern touring coaches, providing a balance of comfort, safety, and seating capacity expected on full-size sightseeing vehicles. Our tours are live guided experiences, and this is clearly stated in the tour description before booking. More generally, when people book a guided day tour, they should reasonably expect live commentary throughout the journey. In fact, one of the aspects most frequently praised in our reviews is the knowledge, personality, and storytelling of our guides, and many guests specifically choose us because they enjoy that experience. We appreciate that not every travel style suits every person, and some guests may prefer a quieter journey. However, providing live commentary is a core part of the service we advertise and deliver. Guides may also revisit certain topics throughout the day to ensure everyone has the opportunity to hear and understand key information, particularly on a moving coach where interruptions are common. For travelers who prefer to explore at their own pace or would like complete control over the level of commentary, we also offer private tours, which can be tailored to individual preferences. As for headphones, this is unfortunately not practical on a coach tour where the guide also needs to communicate important travel and safety information to the whole group. We're glad you still enjoyed visiting the Cliffs and appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. Kind regards, Tatiana
A wonderful trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. Gary, the driver and guide, is exceptional: knowledgeable and friendly!
The scenery is magnificent, we were lucky with the weather, and our very competent and friendly driver pointed out many special things to us and took plenty of time to explain everything. It was a wonderful day and well worth it.
Gary was a great guide. All super well organized. The cliffs are worth the detour although would love to hike to "the end" of them.
It is best to where proper shoes which makes for the best experience Loved how driver’s banter and knowledge of the sites.
Really nice trip to the cliffs. Awesome pub stop en route with best seafood chowder we ever had. Bacon (ham) and cabbbage was just like mom used to make. The cliffs are a good hike so be prepared. The tour was well run and organized. We had several stops which helped for the long ride.
