Beautiful surroundings and stunning views from start to finish. The bike ride was lovely and entirely manageable, even for those who are not in peak physical condition. The food was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A wonderful way to experience Norwegian nature.
My wife and I did this tour in May and had a great day. The e-bikes were comfortable and easy to use. The route is over 20 km, but the electric bikes do most of the work, so you don't need to be super fit. There is one steep climb after Bruvik where you have to pedal a bit, but anyone in normal shape should be fine. The scenery was amazing throughout the ride. The highlight for us was Kossdalen. The hairpin bends there were unlike anything I've seen before. Looking down from the top and seeing the road winding through the landscape, with the water below, was incredible. The road out towards Bruvik was also an experience in itself, with some very narrow sections and beautiful views along the way. Lunch in Mjøsvågen was excellent. The setting right by the water was perfect after the bike ride. The RIB trip back to Bergen was a great way to finish the day. Everything was very well organized, with transport, bikes, lunch and the boat ride all fitting together seamlessly. What we liked most was how varied the experience was. In one day we got to see mountains, fjords, quiet countryside and small villages that we would never have visited on our own. If you want to get outside Bergen and experience a different side of Norway, I would definitely recommend this tour.
