We booked this food tour only a few days in advance and we ended up with a private tour for just the two of us with our guide Linda and her friend who joined us. It was very special. We first had a fantastic balsamic vinegar tasting, then delicious appetisers with Lambrusco. We then had a walk round as Linda explained about some of the buildings and monuments and told us lots of interesting facts about Modena. Then we had a delicious pasta dinner with more Lambrusco followed by a very tasty gelato cone. We had a great time and it felt like we were having a lovely evening out with friends. We would highly recommend this tour - fantastic company and delicious food and wine.

Inspirational and rewarding. Alessia makes the experience light and enjoyable even when sharing deep knowledge of the region's gastronomy. It was a very pleasant journey where we learned with our taste buds.

Lisa was a delight! We tasted food starting with a wonderful balsamic vinegar presentation at Giusti, then went to aperitifs at the central marketplace (amazing!!!), then on to a main course (10 star), and ended with Gelato. Lisa's knowledge of food was wonderful...there was not a question she could not answer. Bravo Lisa!!

Elyssa was a lovely tour guide. She provided a deep background into the history of the food of Modena. Her food choices were excellent. It was a well paced tour and the city is just beautiful! Take the tour if you can.

This tour was the highlight of our trip. It was so nice to learn more about Modena and the pride taken in their high quality food. Sitting in the market having wine and tasting foods was an experience that can’t be beat! We enjoyed every stop and left happy and full. Our guide Kayleigh was an incredible host, giving care and attention to all of the guests. She also gave us recommendations for dinner. We would do this tour again if we could, I highly recommend it!!

It was a beautiful educational day, but also pleasant both with our tour guide and with all the others in the group, tasting local products from Modena.
