It was a seamless process, the instructions and riding the boat was very easy. We were treated well by the tour guide. I’d do it again!

⭐ 1 I rarely leave a 1-star review, and I want to be fair: the staff we interacted with were nice. Unfortunately, the actual rental experience was unacceptable. We paid for a THREE-HOUR boat rental. About an hour into the trip, the boat’s battery died. At that point, we still had approximately TWO HOURS left on a rental we had already paid for. We contacted the company for assistance, but the response took so long that we ended up getting help from a passing boater to get us to safety. The rental company eventually came out and towed us and the boat back. We did not damage the boat. When we asked for a refund because we had lost roughly two-thirds of our rental time due to the boat failing, the company denied it. Their explanation was that we had traveled outside their designated boundary area. The problem with that explanation is that we were never provided a map clearly showing the boundaries. If customers are prohibited from traveling beyond a specific point, that should be clearly explained and documented before they leave the dock. But even putting the boundary dispute completely aside, it doesn’t change the central issue: The boat’s battery died with approximately two hours remaining on our three-hour rental. Even if we unknowingly went somewhat beyond their boundary, we still couldn’t have completed the three-hour rental because the boat was no longer operational. That’s why the refusal to provide any refund is what bothered me most. I don’t expect a company to guarantee that equipment will never break. Things happen. I do expect a business to take responsibility when its equipment fails and the customer doesn’t receive most of what they paid for. There were other issues as well. The boat appeared old, worn and not particularly well cleaned. For the price of the rental, I expected significantly better equipment and organization. We also should have received clearer instructions and a map showing exactly where we were permitted to operate. Had the company simply acknowledged that the boat failed and refunded us appropriately for the substantial amount of rental time we lost, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Instead, we paid for three hours, got roughly one hour before the battery died, waited for assistance, needed help from another boater to get to safety, were eventually towed back, and then had our refund request denied. That’s not an experience I can recommend, especially at the price they’re charging.

The Boat was clean, the staff was patient and helpful. We enjoyed our time thoroughly! Definitely will see us again!

This is what you make of it. They take a little bit to get you on but it wasn’t anything crazy like 10 minutes or so. We didn’t show up early we just showed up on our time but we also came back like a couple minutes after the time so it wasn’t that big of a deal. It wasn’t hard to use the boat after like 15 minutes you kind of get the hang of it. I recommend you game plan and bring drinks snacks etc and a speaker. Have a time and enjoy it and take lots of cute pics.

Wanted an extra hour disappointed it wasn’t an option. The guys were awesome the manager sucked for not approving the extra hours since it was still open.

This was the first most worst experience of my life, we didn’t get on a boat at our booking time. We waited hours for a boat and they close at 9. They were taking people that weren’t there before us. Just so unpleasant

I paid for a self boat ride they never sent over to confirm my reservation so I travel from Delaware to Washington DC for nothing then they wanted me to double pay after I’ve already paid and it was my husband birthday

The actual boat experience was great! Steering can be a little challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes fairly easy and enjoyable. My main concern was with the logistics and overall organization. I arrived 15 minutes early for my scheduled time but ended up waiting approximately an hour due to an emergency involving another boat. There appeared to be only one staff member managing all of the appointments, which made the wait feel especially long and tiring, particularly given how hot it was that day. Unfortunately, there was no shaded waiting area, water provided, or other accommodation offered for the extended delay. Overall, I enjoyed the boat experience itself, but I would recommend booking an earlier time slot if possible. Later appointments may be more likely to experience delays, and waiting for an extended period in the heat can take away from an otherwise enjoyable experience.
