Franz was an exceptional guide! He was so knowledgeable about all things Germany and Dachau. He was very easy to understand and clearly relayed important interesting facts about Germany and World War 2 and the camp itself. I would definitely take any tour again with Franz. I have had tours all over the world and think he is the very best of all of them!

This is a very emotional but necessary, rewarding, and important. I did two tours today with Jake, who was absolutely phenomenal. I am a teacher myself, and it is not hard to spot a good teacher when I see one in any capacity. Jake had phenomenal historical knowledge that he was able to blend seamlessly into the connections he made with the group as well as sharing some of his own family history. It was an enriching, educational experience. It is highly emotional and heavy in that sense, but something we all need to be cognizant of in such tense political climates. In total I did 3 tours with Radius Tours while I stayed in Munich and each one was fabulous. You won’t regret!

We had a very somber but hugely insightful visit to Dachau with our family yesterday. Our guide, Michael, was an excellent communicator and explained very clearly and empathetically so many aspects of the memorial site and its history and background. I can safely say that our tour would not have been so good had it not been for the knowledge which Michael was able to share.

A very comprehensive tour with lots of information from our guide. Radius tours guide at times was a little curt and left us feeling a little disquieted but apart from that was incredibly knowledgeable about the place. All in all with going.

Really enjoyed the third Reich tour

Jake Goldberg was an expert guide who brought together 15 strangers from several different countries and clearly conveyed the heaviness of the subject matter in a way that connected and resonated with each of us individually. He did an expert job at leading our full group through a train and bus ride and then still had the energy to talk through such a difficult topic for several hours. My husband and I feel very lucky to have been part of his group for the day. Not only did he take the time to chat with everyone on this tour, he also made sure we each had “after tour” options clearly laid out for the remaining time we had in Munich. I would quickly sign up for another tour with Jake!

This is a comprehensive look at Dachau and the many concentration camps modeled after it. Many exhibits. There is a lot of walking, so wear good shoes, and you will need water if it’s hot. This is not a tour for youngsters and many may find some of the information too emotional. If you’re taking a young or sensitive person, make sure they have some information about what they will see.
