Great tour. Good mix of urban Old Town and national park and rural /Baltic resort areas. Small group in a Mercedes van with no long stretches of driving. The guide was charming and informative and she looked like a young Francis McDormand with a great accent .
This became one of our favorite port days. Our guide shared local stories that made the city's history much more interesting than simply looking at buildings. Even our teenagers stayed engaged for most of the tour. The air-conditioned transport was comfortable after walking around town, and everything was carefully timed. We returned to the cruise terminal with plenty of time before boarding.
Sometimes shore excursions can feel rushed, but this one found a nice balance. We enjoyed learning about Klaipeda's past while also having opportunities to wander through the streets at our own pace. The guide answered everyone's questions patiently, and transportation between locations was comfortable. The organized pickup and return made the entire experience easy from beginning to end.
Ilona was an excellent guide. She was very personable, flexible, and knowledgeable. She structured the tour to the taste of our group. I definitely would take her tour again.
My partner and I wanted a sightseeing tour that wasn't too busy, and this matched exactly what we were looking for. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer questions throughout the day. We learned quite a bit about the city's history while walking through charming streets. The transportation was comfortable, and having cruise port pickup and drop off made everything convenient. We never had to worry about getting back to the ship in time.
We did this tour as a family and appreciated how calm and easygoing it was. There was no pressure to keep up with a fast group, and the walking distance was manageable. The guide gave short explanations about Klaipeda’s history, which helped us understand the place better without overwhelming the kids. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and engaging. He knows about the history and culture of Klaipeda. Wear a good pair of walking shoes. This tour was very enjoyable.
I had trouble at first as to where I put my discount code but this last time I tried I had no problem at all.
As a couple, we liked that this tour didn’t feel hectic or overcrowded. The semi-structured walk gave us enough guidance while still allowing some independence. The old town is compact, so the tour naturally moves at a gentle pace. The guide was polite and gave useful insights into local culture. It’s a good option if you prefer calm sightseeing over busy, packed itineraries.
Highly recommended. A long tour that covers the whole peninsula and the city itself. We enjoyrrr enjoyed it.
