LOUSY EXPERIENCE. I HIRED THE TOUR AND I WAS STOOD UP. THEY DID NOT GO THROUGH ME, THEY DID NOT REPLY TO MY MESSAGES ON THE PAGE, THE PHONE NUMBER LISTED ON THE PAGE IS NOT CORRECT, AND IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH THEM. I LOST $170 FOR NOTHING. SCAM!!
Like entering Jurassic park. You choose a walking stick ( recommend the bamboo as quite light but sturdy) and which is very helpful for coming back up ! And off you go. Follow the path down - well sign posted and take it slowly ( best step sideways on way down). Lots of spectacular views of the falls on the way down too. About 400 steps. We only saw one other couple on a Saturday afternoon and saw two sloths - what a magical hike. Near il silencio ( about a ten minute drive) which was a fabulous place to then stay for a couple of nights.
Jurassic World. The real Costa Rica wild. One of the best experiences for nature lovers, there's lot of outdoor activities and good vibes.!!!
