Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Communication and Unclear Meeting Instructions Unfortunately, our experience with this tour was very disappointing, mainly because of unclear instructions and poor communication. The information available to me after booking only listed the train station as the meeting point and indicated an 8:30 a.m. start/meeting time. There was no specific location within or around the station provided. We arrived at the taxi drop-off at approximately 8:15 a.m. and immediately began walking around the outside of the station trying to locate our group. At around 8:25 a.m., I texted the contact number listed in the app because we still could not find anyone. I received no response. By 8:30 a.m., I called the operator directly, only to be told that the tour had already departed and that we were considered late because we were supposedly supposed to meet at 8:15 a.m. What is especially frustrating is that the only place stating that guests should arrive 15 minutes before the tour start time to allow for check-in was on the original page where the tickets are purchased. That information was not clearly displayed in the booking details or paperwork available to us afterward. Once the tickets had been purchased, everything I could access showed an 8:30 a.m. time, so naturally, that is the information we relied on. If arriving 15 minutes early is required in order to participate in the tour, that should be clearly stated in the confirmation and post-purchase meeting instructions—not only on the sales page before booking. The lack of a specific meeting point made the situation even more difficult. Simply stating the train station is not sufficient when it is a large, busy location with multiple entrances, drop-off areas, and groups. We were physically at the station by 8:15 a.m. searching for them; we simply did not know exactly where they were. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of communication beforehand. On other Tripadvisor experiences we have booked, the tour operator or guide typically reaches out the day before with confirmation, meeting instructions, or additional details. Nobody contacted us for this tour. Since we were already at the station searching for the group, even a quick phone call or text before the bus departed would have made a significant difference. The phone operator initially tried to help and told us that accommodations might be arranged so that we could meet the tour at the next location. We were hopeful that the situation could still be resolved. However, approximately 30 minutes later, we received an email stating that this was not an option after all. My biggest issue is not simply that we missed the tour. It is that the post-purchase information did not clearly communicate that we needed to meet at 8:15 a.m., did not provide a specific meeting location, and no one attempted to contact us before departing, despite having our contact information and despite us actively trying to reach them. For anyone considering booking this tour: carefully review and take screenshots of all of the details on the ticket-purchase page, particularly any instructions about arriving before the listed start time, because those details may not appear clearly once you have purchased the tickets. I would also recommend contacting the tour operator yourself the day before to confirm the exact meeting time and specific meeting location—and hopefully receiving a response. This entire situation could have been avoided with clearer post-purchase instructions, a specific meeting point, and better communication.

The guide was friendly and clear in his instructions

Ronnie and Daniele, the most amazing driver and tour guide you can imagine. Think Jordan/Pippen or R9 and Ronaldinho, these guys were simply amazing. Accommodating and insightful with amazing translations for all guests included. Our group became a big happy family that spent much of the day together enjoying the beautiful city and Lake of Como. There are no highlights because every single stop was amazing in itself. I can’t wait to return with more friends and family to see such a beautiful place but I will not go without these two. Daniele, my fellow Juventus and Boston Red Sox brother, we truly thank you for the kind hospitality and unforgettable experience. See you soon!

Daniel and Ronnie were great! Daniel did an excellent job making sure our group stayed together and everyone was safe, while still giving us plenty of free time to explore Lake Como and Bellagio at our own pace. The boat ride was smooth, and it was definitely nice coming back to an air-conditioned bus afterward! Daniel also arranged optional lunch reservations for the group, which saved us a lot of time waiting in restaurant lines. At every stop, he carefully checked that everyone was accounted for before we continued. The entire trip was about 10 hours from start to finish and felt well organized without being overly structured. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this tour!

I enjoyed everything. Very well organized and great communication. What disappointed me was the restaurant recommendation because it was overpriced and food was lack of taste.

Kevin really took care of us and was clear on meeting times and pick up points. He was quite knowledgeable of the entire area.

The fantastic guide Matteo, very professional, kind, helpful, very proper and everything very well coordinated with visit time and free time, checking that we were all there and very pleasant, showing us with care and attention so that we all understood everything well!! The boat ride was wonderful, private for the group. The bus was clean and new, with the possibility of charging your phone. The driver Toni was very good, especially with the curves you encounter on the way to Lugano, he always had cold water and it was cheaper than in the stores. Everything turned out perfect!! I 100% recommend this tour.

We took the tour with Matteo and Toni and it was great. He told us many very interesting things and it was very enjoyable. Although we visited several places, they left us time in each location to visit on our own as well. Wonderful!
