Mr. Godfrey brought the history, culture, and traditions of the Gullah/Geechee people to life with passion, knowledge, and heartfelt storytelling. His presentation was unfiltered, engaging, and respectful of the rich heritage he shared. We walked away with a much deeper appreciation for the resilience, contributions, and legacy of the Gullah/Geechee community. This wasn’t just a sightseeing tour—it was an educational and cultural experience that will stay with us long after our visit to Charleston. Godfrey was theeeee best! My children (ages 15,10,5) and us left with a higher deeper perspective and knowledge of Charleston! It was just absolutely the best and air conditioned with plenty of space. Happy Juneteenth all, in every lifetime I choose us! ✊🏽
