Monty and Mason did a wonderful job taking us around downtown Charleston and explaining to us about the events of the Revolutionary War and how Charleston was involved.
Nice ride through historic Charleston. I am not sure our ride was the norm. The horse was distracted, the guide slightly distracted by that, took a route the guide had not taken in a very long time, and didn’t really receive any “astonishing “ info on the city. It was a lovely day though, the horse was well behaved, and the guide friendly. Just didn’t feel we got our monies worth.
We had an excellent experience touring old Charleston. Ernie was very talkative and the tour guide provided great comment on the history of the city. The seats were fairly comfortable and the weather was perfect for the day. We would definitely recommend Old South to other visitors of Charleston!
The Carriage company was very professional and seemed to really enjoy their job. They were knowledgeable about the city and offered a lot of fun facts as well as the history of Charleston. They also truly seemed to care about the horses. They were open on how they work and rest the horses. Great experience!
Ace was fantastic! The guide was great too. Lots of great details on building’s architecture , history, and fun facts. Great way to learn a lot in a short amount of time!
This is a great way to know about history and see prominent areas of Charleston and the French quarters. The guide is really informative and funny, the horse ride smooth, highly recommended tour!
France’s was a hoot and the guide a woman from Michigan with a history major was very knowledgeable even when asked off script questions. She demonstrated a passion for Charlotte and the horses that was infectious!! Amazing experience I highly recommend
