My husband and I were looking for a unique, authentic experience, and wow, did it deliver! It ended up just being my us in the class, so the entire class was focused on us and allowed for interesting conversations, travel tips, and lots of laughs over wine. The market tour was a great way to experience daily life as a local. Our Cesarina hosts were incredibly welcoming, and they really made the experience personal. The cooking class itself was hands-on, fun, and felt very relaxing. We learned to make traditional tiramisu and pasta in the class and have made the dishes for our families as a fun way to share a little part of our trip. Definitely a highlight of the trip and a fantastic value!
Marielle was a wonderful teacher and tour guide! We made so many delicious dishes and enjoyed our authentic Italian cooking lesson. We made tiramisu, pasta, focaccia, and a zucchini dish. I will cherish the time we spent in Messina!
We thoroughly enjoyed every thing about this experience. Welcomed like family into the family’s home to prepare and share the meal. Great tour through the local market where we selected every ingredient; did I mention the freshness? Would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to learn to prepare fresh pasta and tiramisu! Rosella was extremely helpful and informative throughout every step. Very hands on!
They cancelled on us twice. The 2nd time was the night before we arrived so I had no way to rebook. Everything was sold out. So disappointing. My kids were so sad. Really looking forward to this.

Consuelo is a wonderful cook, a patient teacher and a warm and generous host. I enjoyed going to the market and getting a guided tour through sun-splashed Messina to our host’s home. I was made to feel welcome and a friend of the family, as Consuela proceeded with the lesson and we prepared 3 delightful courses, including homemade pasta, a baked dish of farina and pecorino and a memorable tiramisu! A truly memorable experience! Thank you Consuelo, from my heart ❤️
