Inés was a wonderful guide and made our tour a lot of fun. She had great historical facts and information about current events. Her jokes and demeanor kept us laughing throughout the tour. Highly recommend the free walking tour through Sandemans with Inés!

Ezra was a great guide.

Good information with a fun engaging guide
Innes was fantastic. She was engaging and memorable. I learned a lot but it was still fun. She did a great job keeping our daughter in the mix. The tour itself is great and gives you a good history of a few major points in Paris but having a guide that brings it to life is really what makes a walking tour great. She was a wonderful guide.

Great experience!
We joined the Free City Tour with Keara, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. She was engaging, charming, and genuinely funny, and managed to bring the city’s history and stories to life in such an enjoyable way.
Keara shared a lot of fascinating information without ever making it feel overwhelming, and her lively storytelling kept everyone interested — including my teenage daughter, who usually doesn’t enjoy tours at all.
The tour was fun, informative, and full of great energy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and well‑guided experience.

Great Little Tour
This tour was good. The guide spoke about the architecture of the buildings and pointed out key things
His passion and information on the history of Paris and the buildings was great.
He was funny and I enjoyed the tour. He was happy to answer all questions and give recommendations in the city for restaurants, sights, transport etc

Great introduction to Paris.
This tour was full of interesting history, stories, ant facts about present day Paris. We took it our first day and it was a great introduction to the city. Our guide was new to this tour format but did a great job. We were grateful that he has a mic so we could hear him well.

Too many people, gave up
I booked with Sandemans because in other cities they have a limit of 15 people per group, not in Paris. Group grew to around 30 people which is way too many. Apparently this is normal.
You are probably better to choose one of the paid for tours with a limit in people.

Our free public tours are designed to be a social experience where travelers from all over the world can meet, explore the city together, and share the journey. Many of our guests actually enjoy the lively atmosphere that comes with a larger group. For this reason, our public tours in Paris are not advertised as small-group tours, and the maximum group size is up to 30 participants per guide.
Unlike cities such as Amsterdam, where local regulations limit group sizes, Paris has no such restrictions. Larger groups are common on free walking tours here, and our guides are professionally trained to manage them, ensuring everyone can hear, follow along, and enjoy the experience.
If you were looking for a more intimate tour with a guaranteed smaller group, we also offer private tours for an additional fee. We truly hope you'll give us another opportunity in the future, as we're confident you would enjoy the experience that so many of our guests leave Paris talking about.
