Great trip! Saw 3 buffalo. Rob was a wonderful guide.

Cindy was amazing! We saw a bunch of bisons (two up close), but the ride was already an adventure in itself.

We had a really nice time driving around the island with Carlos. He was wonderful. The island is beautiful, we got to see some bison, a fox, and we had a lot of laughs.

Amazing experience during the Bison Expedition thanks to our guide Michael! It was so much more than just seeing bison, we learnt a lot about the island, saw beautiful landscapes, and had a blast on the ride.

She was incredibly knowledgeable about Catalina Island, the history, and the bison, but what really made the experience special was how fun and entertaining she was throughout the entire tour. She made everyone feel comfortable and kept the whole group engaged. The scenery was beautiful, and the experience of getting out into the island’s interior was unforgettable. If you’re considering the Bison Expedition, definitely ask for Cindy!

It was a good opportunity for you to get some good photographs and learn History of Catalina Island. But if you are wanting to see Bisons thats totally on your luck. We didn’t even see one. There are only about 80 bisons on the Island.

Such an excellent experience! Rob, our tour guide, was exceptional; he was very knowledgeable and very friendly, providing a good history of the island. The highlight... we saw a herd of bisons!!! Highly recommend!

I went to Catalina with my employer as an end of season celebration. An all expenses paid day trip and the Bison tour was the highlight. We didn’t know what to expect. We were in a big hummer 4x4 and we had the hilarious Cindy Lowe as our tour guide. She is very funny with a dead pan humor that I just love! She gave us cool history of the island and the owners and how the Bison came onto the island . Now get this, we can across a man made lake and there were 20 bison just napping around the lake it was awesome! We ventured up to the airport which is so cute with a little gift shop snacks and a restroom break. It was all so perfect! If you book this tour you have to book with Cindy!!

Our guide Rob did a great job providing historical background, local knowledge, and funny anecdotes. And we scored big on the wildlife. We were able to see Bison, foxes, mule deer, quail, and a red-tailed hawk. Great views of the water on the far side, the airport, reservoirs. Fun experience.

Our guide Cindy Lowe was very nice and knowledgeable. We were able to see a bison (Mike Bison haha) up CLOSE as he was on the road when we drove. That was great! She also took us to their little airport which was nice. My parents are in their 80's (spry for their age!) and they enjoyed the excursion. It is very bumpy in some parts and can get dusty. Although you can sit in the front or directly behind the driver, be aware there are no doors on that first row or passenger seat and its a bit sketchy just relying on the seatbelt (or your own strength) to keep you inside the vehicle but I loved it! Very "safari" like. We took the 3:30pm slot and we made it back by 5:20- in time for our departure at 6:15. Perfect timing!
