カーメルのヘンゼルとグレーテルの家は、人形職人を愛した男が建てた、まさに実物大の人形の家です。このブロックにある 12 軒の家は個人の住宅ですが、町にはショップやレストランになっている家が他にもたくさんあり、ガイドが教えてくれます。

This tour was the perfect way to experience Carmel-By-The-Sea. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, witty, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed getting out and seeing the sights on an e-bike. Highly recommend!

Great morning out on the dog friendly e-bike tour! Noah made sure everyone was safe, informed, and gave us nice narrations of the notable homes on our route. It was very scenic along the ocean, and there were appropriate stops at the best dog beachy areas to let the dogs stretch their legs and take a break from the side car. I've been coming to Carmel with my dog for 12 years, and I can't believe it took me so long to do this tour! So glad we finally did it!
We took our golden doodle for his first ride . All of us enjoyed so much .definitely will coming back for more ride
The rental process was very easy and simple, I've never used an electric bike before, but it was easy to use, I got the hang of it quickly.

I was definitely hoping for a better experience. I reserved a bike ahead of time and when I arrived the bike I reserved was apparently "not working properly". I assumed I would be given a similar bike. Once I got started on the bike I thought I was struggling because I had my dog in a side car. It was in fact not my struggle it was the bike that could not handle the weight. Once I approached the first incline the bike automatically started hesitating. Very scary experience with my pup in the side car. I immediately turned around and went the opposite direction as the situation did not feel safe. I was able to ride around Carmel on flat roads without a problem. Except Carmel is not made up of only flat roads, there are very few roads that are only flat. Most roads in town have an incline. After fighting the busy roads with the bike and side care we made our way back to the shop after only being able to ride around for 30 minutes. The ride back was also very unsettling as the road back to the shop is at a big incline. The bike was seriously struggling to get us up the hill, extremely embarrassing. I let the man I returned the bike to know how unsafe the ride was and that I was not able to complete the whole 3 hr rental time. In the description of the bike I originally rented it stated the bike could handle up to 300lbs of weight. I am no where near this weight so there should not have been a problem. I would not recommend this place for anyone over 120lbs with a side car for a pup. I have tried to contact the shop about this problem several times with no response. It was such an unsafe experience with no concern from the shop owners.
Hi, We regret to hear that you left feeling this way, your safety and experience (and your pup’s) are extremely important to us. We do want to clarify that this review has been posted under our Carmel guided tour, which does not offer sidecars, while your booking was instead for a self-guided rental. On our guided sidecar tours, our expert guides are present throughout and able to assist riders in real time, including addressing any operational errors. We do want to clarify a few points for accuracy. The bike you originally reserved for your rental was simply not the correct size for your height, and for that reason our team made the decision to switch you to a different model that would provide a safer and more comfortable fit. This is standard practice for us and always done with rider safety as the top priority. The bike you rode (Super73 Miami Z) is in excellent working condition and is rated for a higher weight capacity (325 lbs) than the bike you originally reserved (300 lbs). This bike has been test ridden since this review by everyone on our our team including staff members significantly over the weights mentioned—and is fully capable of handling Carmel’s inclines, even with a dog in the sidecar. We have asked staff that day and also reviewed our in-store footage and did not observe any safety concerns being raised at the time of return. Staff said there was no mention of any concerns upon return. If something felt unsafe during your ride, we genuinely wish that had been communicated in the moment so we could have addressed it immediately whether that meant switching equipment again, offering assistance, or adjusting your rental. Additionally, you also left our shop without notifying staff that your dog peed in the sidecar and all over the dog bed we provide. While we completely understand that accidents happen (especially with pets), we do have a cleaning fee for this, and we encourage frequent breaks to ensure dogs have the chance to potty and it's a comfortable ride for everyone. If your dog simply did not enjoy the ride and you had to cut your ride short because they had an accident, we have policy for this but are unable to work with you on it if you don't let us know when you arrive back at the shop. We take feedback seriously and are always happy to speak directly to resolve concerns. We had one of the best experiences on our tour today with Leslie! She was outstanding, so informative and super personable! As it turned out, my husband and I were the only two on the tour so it was basically a private tour!! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The e-bikes were great quality, worked well and super easy to use! Thanks again Leslie, you were AWESOME!
