Driver very knowledgeable and learnt more about the conflict in Northern Ireland. Fascinating tour and murals are great to see.
One of the most powerful and priceless experiences I’ve ever had was this tour. Our tour guide, Emmanuel, was exceptional and brought the history of the Troubles to life in a way that was beyond my expectations. By interweaving his own personal history into the larger story of the 800 year long British occupation of the North of Ireland, I felt honored to hear E’s story. This tour is absolutely essential if you visit Belfast and truly want to understand this history.

Fabulous experience from our guide with first hand knowledge and experience. Would recommend highly to anyone wishing to learn more about Northern Ireland's past and present.
Our driver was a former prisoner who knew all sides of The Troubles, having lived it as a teenager. Out of prison more than 30 years, he knew all the key landmarks on each side of the Peace Wall and key moments. He made a great point of showing key steps toward peace, including Father Alec Reed's secretive work at ending the fighting. It is worth every penny.

This tour is worth every penny it cost. My family learned so much about Belfast and the northern part of Ireland. Our guide, Kevin, drove us around Belfast and explained without bias, the intricate details of historic interactions of the population. We learned so much. Specifically, my teenage children were drawn in by Kevin’s story telling ability. This 2 hour tour was so worth it. If you are interested in the history of the emerald isle then you can’t leave Belfast without going on this Black Taxi Tour. Absolutely worth the cost, you will love it.
