We had a secret food tour on August 25th with our guide Hannah A. We were lucky to have a fairly small group (3 + Hannah) and that made the tour more intimate. We learned about some interesting foods and iconic Ottawa establishments, as well as learning lots about each other. The tour started with BeaverTails (Killaloe Sunrise), moved on to Chateau Lafayette (The Laff) for poutine. Third stop was International Cheese (We sampled three cheeses and returned later to purchase one - cheddar and horseradish - and some Sicilian olives). Then on to Beyond the Pale Taproom for Maple Glazed Duck Drumettes. Fifth stop was Sirop D'érable for Maple Syrup. Then Shafali Bazaar for a Tikka Wrap and finally Casa di Moni Café and Gelato for Gelato. Great tour and great Guide. Thanks, Hannah.
