Really great experience. Lots of interesting history of the food we were eating and generally delicious eats.

This was my first Toronto walking tour and I was really impressed. The food portions were huge! Good value for money. The tour was a good length and I loved the selection, especially spoiler the two different salmon. Now every time I see St Lawrence market I know the best spots and its history. Great guide. Liked the smaller size. Intimate. Fun. Highly recommend.

This was an incredible experience, I highly recommend. I came as someone who has visited the market before, but moved to the area and wanted to get a proper review. I discovered so many things I did not realize despite having been there a few times before. The food selection was special, a true 'coast-to-coast' Canadian selection that was very thoughtful. The value is huge because you get a lot. There is lots to learn, and so much to eat. The length of the tour is perfect. You feel like you got more than you expected and leave satisfied. The market is a one-of-a-kind experience for the city and a really special way to feel the heart and soul of the market. I especially appreciate the focus on quality over quantity, thoughtful group sizes are very helpful given the market can get crowded. The staff is incredible. Damian was so knowledgeable and thoughtful as well, our guide. His passion stood out. This is definitely a must try and is best for both newcomers to the city and those that thought they knew a lot about this gem.

Damian gave us a brief historical summary regarding the origin and changes of the St. Lawrence Market through the years. He navigated us through the busy Saturday markets, then brought us a couple of foods to sample and enjoy outside, before continuing inside for the final culinary offerings. The portions were large, and we ended up sharing. A little heads up on how to meet him by the dog fountain would have been nice, but once we called the included number, we hooked up right away.

We had some family visiting so we wanted for ourselves and our guests to get the history of a famous part of our city and a taste of some of the foods we enjoy. The guide was well informed answering all our question. I would highly recommend this tour.

as a local, we discovered places we would never have found on our own and we learned new things about the history of Toronto. The guide was well informed and made the experience a lot of fun.
