An amazing experience with this team! The service is impecableor during the tour. We travel a lot, and we must say that we have not experienced such professionalism as this ever before. The communication, the people, the service were amazing. How they also handled the cancellation of the Bromo tour due to the closure of the area beacause of the wildfires at the time, was impeccable. Also selection of accommodation was great, with th highlight being Teras Ijen villas. Wish we could stay more there. Our driver Sigit is such a great person, we specifically thank him for taking care of us. The guides at each place also amazing, with a special mention to Suci, our guide at Ijen! And such a lovey surprise that she was speaking Greek!!! If you are planning to do this tour privately, not sure that you will find a better option!

I contacted them in March and they were professional right from the start. We arrived by plane and returned to Bali (Munduk) with them by land. Three nights in Yogyakarta and then tea plantations, waterfalls, caves, Mount Bromo, and Ijen. They had the thoughtfulness to have one of their men accompany us even on the Java/Bali ferry. High-level hotel. Trust well placed. Perfect, comfortable, and new cars…. A road trip always has its appeal.

We honestly can’t recommend Bromoijen Tour Transport (Bromobackpackers) highly enough. From the very first pickup to the final drop-off, the whole experience was seamless, and the team made it truly unforgettable. Our driver Sigit was an absolute beast behind the wheel — his driving skills are next level, and we felt completely safe the entire time, even on the chaotic Java roads. On top of that he shared so much knowledge about the area along the way, and looked after us at every single step (even when we left our wallets at the hotel — he had us covered!). A genuine legend. Our Ijen guide Rossy was fantastic — absolutely hilarious, so knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He made the pre-dawn blue-fire trek both magical and fun, and we felt in the safest hands the whole way up and down. Our Bromo guide Harry taught us so much about his culture and the region, and his local knowledge was invaluable. We had a super tight schedule, and the team nailed our timings to a tee — Harry made sure we didn’t miss a single moment despite the tight windows. And a huge thank you to Ary for organising everything so smoothly and being so responsive and warm throughout. The itinerary itself — Tumpak Sewu waterfall, the Ijen blue fire, the Bromo sunrise — was breathtaking, but it was the people that made it. If you’re considering this tour, book with these guys. Perfect organization, all the guides super competent, special mention to our driver Sigit, very professional with whom we felt very comfortable traveling so many kilometers on the road. A highly recommended experience and even more so with an agency like this.

Ary was very flexible changing the tour to let us go from Bali to Malang, was very well organised and patient given our flight was delayed twice. Ickbal was a lovely friendly driver who took us to a great lunch spot. I would suggest to those going to Bromo to walk across the Sea of Sand rather than drive as we got caught in a two hour traffic jam. If we were going to do this again we also would have organised for a break/rest day between Bromo & Ijen as we were exhausted. We had a lovely time and all the accommodation was really nice Thanks to everyone that made it work

I had an amazing experience with BROMOIJEN tour transport. The Office / Contact: Ary was extremely responsive! Everything was booked and finalized in less than a day. They were incredibly accommodating with my activities and custom itinerary, ensuring that every detail was perfectly handled. The Driver: A huge thanks to Itong! He was much more than a driver; he was a true road companion. He guided me to the best spots and perfectly optimized the organization. As a solo traveler, I deeply appreciated his professionalism, kindness, and care. The Ijen Guide: Suci was absolutely incredible during the Mount Ijen hike. Despite the heavy crowds where we temporarily lost each other, we managed to reunite perfectly. I can’t thank her enough for her bubbly energy. I learned so much by chatting with her, and she is an outstanding photographer! Everything was perfect from start to finish. Don't hesitate to book with them!

We did the 4D/3N (this includes Sukamade turtle conservation between Ijen and Bali) and also includes the Madakaripura waterfalls on day 1. The quotation/booking process was very easy via email with Ary. Everything was explained (included or not included, what to prepare before the trip, etc) and we had a choice of accommodation type as well. Once the trip started we've been incredibly well looked after right until the end. We were met by our awesome driver Bagus and a representative (Nico) who organised the final payment and gave us a bag with snacks, drinks and other lively things. He also did a recap of what was going to happen in the next 4 days for us. We then went on with Bagus on a very comfortable car with water bottles always available and great conversations! All the activities were well worth the trip, from the impressive waterfalls of Madakaripura, the unbelievable views of Bromo park, the unique Ijen, and the emotional turtle experience. Both guides (Hari for Bromo, making sure we got at the viewpoint and to the crater at the perfect moments for best views and avoiding queues, and Suci for both Ijen and Sukamade, providing unlimited knowledge about the areas, culture, etc) were super friendly and took amazing pictures for us, and Ary also checked on us via WhatsApp during the trip. Unfortunately we couldn't see the famous blue fire on Ijen but the trip up, the views of the lake and the sunrise were still amazing! My favourite part was how incredible Bromo was and my husband's favourite was to witness a turtle laying eggs/releasing baby turtles to the sea in Sukamade. Once at the ferry port, we said goodbye to Bagus who left us with a porter for the ferry trip to Bali, and we then met our new driver on the Bali side for our final destination there. We want to thank Bagus, Suci and Hari especially but everyone involved with our trip as we will never forget it!

My partner and I had an absolutely unforgettable adventure with Bromoijen Tour Transport! The entire trip was perfectly organized, including the beautiful waterfall stop we didn’t expect to love so much. Our guide was incredibly caring and attentive—he checked in on us constantly, adjusted the pace when we needed it, and even shared great tips for the hike. The Bromo sunrise, Ijen blue fire, and waterfall visit were all breathtaking, and we felt completely safe and looked after the whole time. The best thing I have ever experienced in Indonesia! Every little detail was picked up on and sorted by the company. Everything was seamless and comfortable. Other than the breathtaking views and spots we saw, the team was the reason for the magical experience. All the tour guides were extremely helpful and supportive. All very knowledgable sharing facts and experiences at the locations. Mr Sigit, our driver, was incredible! He was there during every transition and long drive taking us through the whole journey. The most amazing guy! I will miss everything about this experience. It is honestly one of a kind! I would 10000% always chose to so it with this company! Worth every penny!
