I visited Bali for a few days in March 2026. I came here to surf and to reunite with old friends whom I hadn’t seen for a long time. I have known my guide and driver, Mr. Mudita Wayan, for decades. Whenever I come to Bali, we spend hours talking about our families, the Indonesian economy, politics, and many other topics. There’s always so much to discuss. Although he is older than me, to me he feels like a big brother and a best friend. Most Balinese people are traditionally warm, caring, and always ready to help those in need. They are honest, loyal, and never deceptive. Wayan is undoubtedly one of them. As a guide, he is truly exceptional. He is always punctual, kind-hearted, fluent in English, and keeps his vehicle spotless. His knowledge of Bali — its culture, history, and hidden gems — is outstanding. In recent years, ride-hailing apps like Grab have become very popular, which has unfortunately reduced job opportunities for local guides like Wayan. I hope anyone planning to travel to Bali reads this and considers choosing Wayan as their guide. I wish him all the best. Thank you, Wayan!

A beautiful day out! Taman Ayun was serene and Tanah Lot was breathtaking. Our guide, Budiana, was the highlight of the trip—a great driver, and very patient while we finished our shopping. He really knows the best photo spots and made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend booking a tour with him!

I had an amazing solo day trip with Yan as my driver in Bali. He was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience stress-free. Yan took me to some incredible spots, including Uluwatu Temple, beautiful beaches, and hidden gems. Our driver was Yan Mudita and he drove us to Ubud for the day where went to Taman Beji Griya waterfall, cafe wyah and ring making. I had him as a driver before and had him again this time. He is very reliable, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great time :)
