Charter Car service very good and punctual. Driver Juli very accomodating. He gave us nice suggestions where to go for lunch and what to see.

Absolutely recommended with minor drawbacks regarding routes in the north We booked our entire round trip in Bali through Bali SUN Tours and were driven from station to station; during the trips, we took day excursions that were located along the routes between the places: From the airport, we went to Sanur → Ubud → Sidemen → Lovina → Pemuteran → Munduk → Seminyak and back to the airport Here is our detailed experience: Planning & communication: The contact beforehand was absolutely smooth and super friendly. Since we had problems with the digital payment link and Wise could not be used, the agency proved to be extremely flexible. Instead of an advance transfer or the subsequently agreed-upon one-time payment on the first day, we were able to pay the drivers directly in cash every day without any problems, which helped us enormously with withdrawing cash on-site. Huge praise for this flexibility! The drivers & vehicles: All of our drivers were without exception very friendly, super reliable, drove safely, and had clean, well-maintained vehicles. Before every trip, there was reliably a short WhatsApp message to confirm the times. Custom routes & great insider tips: We put together our tour completely ourselves and were driven exactly where we wanted to go. At our request, the drivers gave us great additional tips for stops along the way that fit our interests perfectly. Only point of criticism: The agency seems to have its focus more in the southern area of Bali. For the longer leg from Sidemen (via Lovina, Pemuteran, and Munduk to Seminyak), we had a very nice permanent driver who also had some great tips for us. Unfortunately, you could tell that this region was very exhausting for him: He became more tired from day to day. On the routes from Sidemen to Lovina and Lovina to Pemuteran, he drove home to the south in between, which was quite a distance in addition to the trips with us; there wasn't much time left for sleep. Once, he arrived an hour late the next day due to heavy traffic – which didn't bother us, as we still managed everything in a relaxed manner. At the other stops, he stayed overnight near our accommodations (it seemed, however, as if he had partially slept poorly in the car). In the interest of the driver's safety and well-being, it would be better here to alternate drivers for such longer northern round trips or to hire them from the region. Apart from that, this driver also didn't speak English quite as well as the other drivers, which sometimes made communication difficult. It was a real shame that we had a permanent driver for the many tours precisely here during the long trips in the north. Conclusion: Despite the small point regarding working conditions/driver fatigue on the northern route, we award a full 5 stars for the excellent service, great reliability, good cars, and the incredibly uncomplicated payment and planning process. We would definitely book through Bali SUN Tours again, but next time we will express the wish to have drivers from the respective regions for the northern routes, or even drivers who change daily in those areas, so they don't start the day with us already overtired in the morning.

I'm in Bali with my family for a week now. We booked a nine-days drive with Bali Sun Tours to go around the island. Incredible experience so far. Tour operator perfectly organized. Timely communications and highest flexibility. We used a few drivers so far. They were all nice, but I have to say that Jik Satria is definitively outstanding! He's a cautious driver, very nice person and always keen to tell you everything about places we are visiting and about life and culture in Bali. He can really add a lot of value to your travel experiences. Thank you Bali Sun Tours and huge Thanks to Jik!

Noleggiare car hire appear to have no customer service as they are very happy to charge for existing damage to your hire vehicle despite having evidence. They will not provide me with evidence that the damage wasn't present at pick up, I have been charged £450 for damages that were already on the car, a total of 19 existing points of damage were on the check sheet. Absolutely disgusting company. Do not use, everything will be ok at pick up, just wait for the charges afterwards. Scammers.

Bali Sun Tours put together a fantastic bespoke one day tour for myself , my wife and our 17 year old son. We went to a number of locations north of Ubud including some of the main temples, waterfalls , rice fields ,coffee plantations and the Blue Mountain. Although we declined, the time allocated allowed us to do the swing and zip wire as well. Our guide for the day was Pandi who was not only a lovely person to spend the day with, he was a fantastic tour guide, being very informative and flexing the day around us. We stopped off at the Blue Mountain cafe for lunch , which was great food and offered mesmerising views. Bali Sun Tours were very easy to deal with, great communication from pre booking and post booking to the day of the trip and delivered 100% on everything promised. Definitely recommend them and ask for Pandi!

Lila was absolutely wonderful! We spent the entire day with him exploring Ubud, and he made the experience so easy and enjoyable from beginning to end. He was incredibly kind, patient, thoughtful, and never once made us feel rushed—even after a very long day together. What stood out most was how genuinely caring he was. He helped us navigate the day, waited patiently everywhere we went, and made us feel completely comfortable and taken care of. By the end of the day, he felt much more like a friend showing us Bali than simply our driver. If you are visiting Ubud and looking for someone trustworthy, warm, and dependable, I cannot recommend Lila highly enough. He was a wonderful part of our experience in Bali, and we feel very lucky that we spent the day with him!

I booked a car charter, but it never came. I didn't hear from him. Too bad.
