A spectacular place with an impeccable golf course and a dream setting. The top-notch bedding just like the rooms and all the hotel spaces. Excellent food. As a golfer we lacked a hot pool to relax after the game. all the wonderful staff, attentive to any need. Is it expensive? Yeah, but it's worth it. A luxury!

It was quite nice, but because there were only two of us alone with the guide it was also a bit of a crazy experience. Which was also a bit of a shame that you got to choose what you wanted to eat instead of being exposed to new types of dishes, something that is part of a goodyour. What we did like was that we still came to the night market this way we would not have gone otherwise I think. In itself a great experience.

Even in the midst of torrential downpour and corresponding traffic, Putu showed us a great time and got us delicious, local food. He's an outstanding guide, considerate and goes above and beyond to explain local life in Ubud. If you want the food locals eat, this is the tour for you. Be prepared for the spice - which is manageable - and true street food. You will not be disappointed!! You're in great hands with Putu!

Natayana took us to where the locals go and got to experience authentic Balinese food. We enjoyed everything we ate and the sites around the food market. Thank you for a wonderful tour 😊😊

Having done a few food tours in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur which we thoroughly enjoyed we found this tour to be a bit strange. It had far less structure where we got to choose a lot of what we would eat (half the idea of a food tour is to try things you wouldn’t normally eat), we were the only 2 people on the tour so it had a strange vibe compared to bigger group tours. The night market was OK for sampling bits of things but the “restaurant” for the sucking pig for the main meal was pretty disgusting from a hygiene point of view and by this stage we just didn’t want to eat what was given to us for fear of getting ill. I think the guide that you land would also make an impact on your experience.

If you would like to experience traditional Balinese food with the help of an experienced guide then this is the trip for you! Our guide helped explain what foods we would be eating and how the food was prepared, took the guess work out for us. Excellent tour, great guide, totally worth every dollar. Thank you we had a fabulous time.

Nati was an incredible tour guide, sharing his local knowledge with us - we enjoyed the best food we’ve had in Bali so far. We visited a coffee place where we got to sample coffee & tea and see how lewak coffee is “processed” we ate Babi Guling - duckling pig which was delicious, then spent some time in the park with the locals in the early evening watching the people dancing, flying kites and playing soccer, then walked over to the night market where we ate sarumbatan, matabak, dim sum, satay & several other items I can’t recall the name of. It was our first night in Bali and we were worried about getting sick but had no problems - definitely helps to have a local guide to help pick the best spots to try local food. Nati wanted us to try more but we were a bit jet lagged and full. Great experience. 10 stars! Thoroughly recommend.

Nara was our guide. He was amazing! He had to fight through the terrible Ubud traffic to get to us. We started a bit late but definitely got our money’s worth and filled our tummies trying local delights including suckling pig, chicken butu, meatball soup, satays (chicken, pork, tuna, mei goreng, and three fantastic explosions of joy for dessert! The experience was a wonderful way to immerse ourselves in the food culture. We returned to our hotel at 10:30pm after setting out just before 6pm.

It was amazing to be able to experience the local streetfood. Joe and Nata were very very kind and provided us with lots of information regarding the different dishes. On top of that all our questions were answered. We couldnt be more happy with this experience

Loved this experience! Putu, our friendly guide, shared lots of interesting insights about local culture and there was lots of different food to try. I especially enjoyed traditional sweets while my husband loved the suckling pig with different levels of chilli on offer. We really enjoyed getting away from tourist spots and loved being immersed in the local market.
