What a fabulous experience. We were picked up in Valencia and driven out to beautiful countryside. The cooking experience was both fun and interesting. The food and drink served was great prior to the paella being ready - and that was also delicious. Rafa and his team were wonderful and very entertaining. Great day - really recommend.

We had a wonderful time. Well organised and plenty of laughs and information. Juliet contacted us the day before with a reminder of our meeting point. The Paella cooking course is a little way out of the centre but all transport arranged and it was good to see some of the countryside. Rafa is brilliant at the cooking of Paella and offers loads of additional information. What was also nice was it was a small group around 10 of us so sitting down to eat our cooked Paella was liking sitting at a table with friends. Would highly recommend.

What an absolute joy to spend these hours with our tour guides, along with Rafa and his team. Communication from Julieta was spot on and appreciated. Meeting point clearly explained. The drive to Rafa’s home was comfortable and Julieta conversed about what we were passing while being a very safe driver. We were warmly welcomed by Rafa as soon as we pulled up, entered his patio, offered cold beverages and proceeded up into his garden to pick our fresh rosemary to be used in our paella. This was the perfect paella cooking class, out of the city in the beautiful countryside near Parque Natural de la Albufera. Rafa was a perfect host, an excellent step by step instructor and the best Paella Master…WOW WOW WOW!!! As Rafa speaks his native Spanish, Julieta interpreted everything he said and was able to carry out his sense of humor. They were a perfect team and enhanced the experience. We were all welcomed in to Rafa’s home just like we were truly his guests and even his friends. Rafa you are a gem! The cold beverages, tapas, PAELLA, Sangria, fresh made cake by Rafa that morning, watermelon and after dinner wine were all excellent. Rafa’s team moved about seamlessly, clearing plates, filling wine glasses and scrubbing our Paella pans. This experience was truly unforgettable and 100% worth it. Thank you Rafa and Julieta for your knowledge and humor.

It has been an unparalleled experience. Spending 4 hours with Rafa and his team was a true luxury because they clearly know what they are doing and love the people who come to learn. The landscape, the farmhouse, and the organization of the space were spectacular. The paella was excellent. Additionally, it is a complete meal, with sangria, wine, appetizers, and dessert.

WOW WOW WOW! What a fabulous experience at Rafas home sharing the authentic paella making experience with friends! From learning to make delicious, authentic paella to enjoying amazing wine, sangria, and homemade dessert, every moment was incredible. Rafa and the translator made the day so much fun, interactive, and engaging, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This was more than just a paella cooking class it was a truly memorable cultural experience filled with laughter, great food, and wonderful company. It was a really nice experience. Rafa a real Spaniard who lives there and was super excited and told it very nice. First we went to make sangria and then to the paella. Very nice experience, definitely recommended

Our host ( Rafa - sp.? ) was very hospitable, charming, knowledgeable funny!! His translator, Julieta, was a good translator, did not interrupt Rafa, was kind and engaged. The added portion of making sangria was a pleasant surprise and addition.

WOW WOW WOW! Highlight of our trip for sure. Rafa and his team made this cooking class so much fun and informative. We had SUCH a good time learning to make Paella, Sangria, and enjoyed some snacks/apps as well. They are. Generous with their time and Rafa is an amazing teacher. My rather and I agreed that this was easily the best part of our trip to Spain. We now plan to always incorporate some type of cooking class in our trips in the future. Lastly, Rafa’s home is amazing - it’s’ a beautiful backdrop and numerous people from the group who did city cooking classes recommended this one over all of the others. Glad I chose right!
