We had a really great experience! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job adjusting the experience based on the weather. Everything mentioned in the description was included, and we truly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. I would definitely recommend it!

The ATV tour was a successful excursion along the coast of Mahahual. Carlos was a super group leader. He took very good care of the well-being of every participant. The only negative point was that the tour started significantly later than planned. However, we were offered various chilled drinks for the waiting time. Included in the price is a stay at a beach club. Due to the seaweed situation along the coast, however, we decided against it. Thanks for the beautiful and fun excursion.

We were told to arrive at 10am which we did. We then waited for 30-40 minutes to leave. It is nice they provide some drinks while you’re waiting, I just wish we wouldn’t have been told to arrive that early. ATV ride wasn’t exactly what I expected, not much off roading, nothing very interesting to see. The beach/restaurant we were taken to was overcrowded. The free food options weren’t good at all. The beach area was tiny & again just overcrowded. The listing was confusing stating meeting & drop off place same location but in the details it says to take a taxi back from the beach so that was an unpleasant surprise. I’d skip this one if we could pick again.

Carlos was great. Great ride through the city and beachside. Awful smell but it is all natural I guess. This ride was clean and on the streets so if you don’t want to get dirty this is for you. Easy check in and just a short walk from the port. Lunch was good and unlimited drinks too. Vendors will vendor you to death while you are eating lunch. Overall great experience

We had an amazing time on the Costa Maya ATV & Open Bar Adventure, and the biggest reason was our tour guide, Carlos! From the moment we met him, Carlos was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. He made the entire experience fun while sharing interesting information about Costa Maya. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and wants everyone to have a great time. My 11-year-old son was pretty disappointed at first because he wasn’t old enough to drive the ATV. Carlos went above and beyond to make his day. Since my son has experience riding ATVs, Carlos safely took us to a back road where he was able to drive for a bit. Seeing the excitement on my son’s face made the entire excursion worth it, and it’s something he’ll never forget. Carlos didn’t have to do that, but he truly cared about making sure everyone had an incredible experience. After the ATV ride, we were taken to a beach where we enjoyed food, drinks, and relaxed by the water. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of seaweed that day, which caused a noticeable odor. That’s obviously beyond anyone’s control and had absolutely nothing to do with the tour itself. One thing to be aware of is that once you arrive at the beach, there are quite a few local vendors offering massages, hair braiding, jewelry, souvenirs, and other items. They are polite and simply trying to make a living, so just be prepared if you’re not interested. Overall, this excursion was fantastic, and Carlos deserves all the praise. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile turned a great excursion into an unforgettable one. If you book this tour, I hope you’re lucky enough to get Carlos as your guide—you won’t be disappointed!

The tour staff (I think they were called Toucan Tours?) made us feel welcome! Our "ATV adventure" was not what I expected, only up and down a few city streets and the main road along the beach which was interesting, but it was smelly season with the sargassum cleanup going on. Carlos was a GREAT guide for our ATV adventure - he was very knowledgeable and shared much about the local culture. We were lucky to be right behind him so he was able to stop and talk with us constantly. I wish the others in our group were able to hear his knowledge, so they did not get the same tour experience as we did. The beach time portion of the tour wasn't really that "pristine beach" you might envision - just a small packed section of clean beach with one vendor after another and tables so close together you couldn't really relax. Foodservice was slow, but our host Jimmy made sure everyone in our party had drinks and he was a fun guy! So we adjusted our expectations, enjoyed the culture and the people around us, heck we're in the Carribean!

Our guide was great so this review is no way a reflection on him or the actual tour company. This was our first experience in Costa Maya. The areas we visited were a dump (literally) and roads were full of Sargasm and smelled horrible. The beach area we went to afterwards was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. We had beef nachos and fajita's. The beach merchants were a bit trying as we were approached every few minutes by another, which made it challenging to relax and enjoy the area. They did have barriers up around the beach, which allowed people to be in the ocean without having to deal with sargasm, which was nice.

We had a great time on this excursion. Our guide was Carlos and he was amazing, he made us feel safe and comfortable!! The beach after the ATV tour was also great, had good food and drinks. If I ever come back to Mahahual I will definitely book this excursion again. 10/10 experience, highly recommend. Viva Mexico!!

The ATV ride was so fun! Carlos our tour guide was so great and made sure we were safe and had the chance to stop and see the sights. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The food for lunch was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone

Carlos was an excellent tour guide! From showing us how to use the ATV’s to explaining the culture to stopping at some notable places. We had a wonderful open bar on the beach with lunch included and a lovely beach experience. I ended my tour with a quick 30 minute massage.
