Our tour operator Emilia was not only a tour operator helping you with the glasses and the audio guide. She was a real guide herself. She told us a lot, and could answer any question. So in fact we got a full guided tour for the price of a simple one. The AR glasses were a nice addition.
Great tour, super guide, and 3D is recommended, though only available at certain points. We were very satisfied

Yesterday we went to the excavations of Pompeii, and they recommended using 3D glasses with integrated audio; it was truly a magical vision; thanks to this technology, the ruins gain a new dimension, and the experience becomes even more engaging and unique. Great Experience!!! The guide was very nice and answered all of our questions (even our dumb ones). They had a great knowledge and appreciation of Pompeii but also gave us a local appreciation which we could not get from any normal tour. The AR experience was excellent and gave us a better understanding of Pompeii. While also allowing us to better see the city the way it was before the big boom. Overall one of our best experiences in Italy!!
We spent a very pleasant Saturday morning discovering Pompeii as we had never seen it thanks to the 3D vision and especially thanks to the friendliness and stories of Sara, our guide, who really knew how to make us feel good

Great idea to book with them, to catch the attention of a child of 9 and 12 years and also help us adults to better understand what we saw, first there was always a first oral explanation and then we saw the movie and the 3d reconstruction. Wonderful to see with what care and detail they built in the past.
I would skip this one. Compared to other tours we’ve had this guide was unenthusiastic and spoke with back to the group for much of the time. He also didn’t keep track of the group and just moved forward. We missed half the tour as we couldn’t find him. The glasses were ok, 1 minute created snippets at various locations.
Richard, we are sorry that you did not enjoy the experience. Pompeii is a very complex context and you run the risk of getting distracted and lost if you do not follow the group closely. Thank you very much for your feedback and we will make good use of it by introducing additional measures to improve the logistics aspect. I also understand that you did not do the whole experience and therefore some stops of the tour were missed.
