We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our private guide for the Seville Cathedral and Royal Alcázar. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and did an incredible job bringing the history of these beautiful places to life. We learned so much about the history, architecture, and the people who shaped Seville, but the tour never felt like a dry history lesson. Our guide was engaging, patient, and happy to answer all of our questions. They also made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour, which was especially appreciated given the heat. Having a private guide made such a difference—we were able to go at our own pace and really understand what we were seeing rather than simply walking through and looking at beautiful buildings. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Seville. Our guide made two incredible sites even more memorable, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for Seville and its fascinating history.

First of all Sofia is a lovely person. Her grasp of English is impeccable also. Very knowledgeable and she is very proud of her Sevillian heritage. The cathedral and Alcazar are stunning. She was so sweet she even bought us a gift! Who does that? I have been to so many tours and she was the first that has done that. Thank you for a wonderful time spent. We had a great day with Sofia. The moment we booked months ago she sent me a text and clearly explained how to purchase the necessary tickets. She was very informative but laid back. My family agreed she was our favorite tour guide of our entire trip!

Sofia met us at our hotel (across the street from the Cathedral) and gave us an amazing tour. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, she helped us with suggestions for other non-tour related things. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone visiting Sevilla. Sofia is exceptional — book her if you can! My mother, daughter and I  spent two wonderful days with her in Seville, splitting the Alcázar and Cathedral across separate visits and adding Plaza de España and María Luisa Park to our first day. It was the perfect pace, and Sofia's knowledge made every stop come alive. She shared that her dad is an archaeologist father and her mom’s a teacher, and her level of expertise shows that history, architecture, and culture are clearly in her blood. IMO what really sets exceptional guides apart is the care extended beyond the tours themselves. Sofia reached out weeks before our arrival to help us plan, connected us with a fantastic guide for our Córdoba day trip, and offered recommendations that enhanced every part of our trip.   Most memorably, she shared personal photos and stories of herself and her family taking part in traditional Sevillian celebrations. That glimpse into her lived experience gave us a genuine sense of what makes southern Spain so special.

Our trip to Seville was amazing. Sofia is not only an incredible tour guide but a fountain of information. She helped me with tickets and info prior to us even arriving in Spain. So if you’re like me and trolling through TripAdvisor to find that perfect tour and experience you can stop right here. I cannot recommend Sophia enough! Sophia is a walking encyclopedia of all things related to the Alcázar, the Cathedral, Seville and Andalusia. She is the person you need to guide you and educate you on the history of these two iconic monuments and the role they played in making Seville the place it is today. Sophia was also so kind and patient. My husband and I were visiting Andalusia with our mothers. They are young at heart but have unwillingly had to start navigating life with mobility issues. This can make joining a group tour stressful, so our private experience with Sophia was perfect in every way. Thank you Sophia for a wonderful visit to the Alcázar and Cathedral! It was truly the highlight of our time in your beautiful city of Seville!

Sofia was a wonderful guide for our private tour of the Alcázar and Cathedral. She knew the history inside out, but what we really appreciated was how naturally she explained it — not just dates and facts, but the layers of Seville’s Islamic, Christian, royal, and Andalusian history. The tour felt relaxed and personal. She answered all our questions, shared little stories along the way, and helped us notice details we would definitely have missed on our own. One small moment we really enjoyed was when she connected our upcoming Córdoba day trip from Santa Justa station to the paintings and sculptures of Saints Justa and Rufina inside the Cathedral. It was a fun detail that made the city feel more connected. Both the Alcázar and Cathedral are huge and can be a bit overwhelming, but Sofia made them easy to understand and enjoy. We left with a much better appreciation of Seville. Highly recommended.
