Fun, informative, incredible variety of delicious food. I’ve taken many food tours in a variety of countries. This is among the best.

I booked this last minute on a Saturday evening whilst visiting Marrakesh for the first time. It was a really good call and a good way to be introduced to the Medina buzz through food. I loved that he knew a lot and took us into the more residential part to sample dishes there. The small group all gelled well together too so the chat was friendly and welcoming.

Ismail was fantastic, very knowledgeable and flexible, tailoring the tour around us and our preferences. One of the best tours I've been on, lots of hidden gems that weren't on maps/popular with tourists. Would highly recommend

Tour is more than just food. Guide shared history that made it very interesting. Food choices were excellent. Don’t eat breakfast before the tour because you need to save room for the delicious food!

I paid for a private tour, yet on the day of the experience I was asked to arrive 90 minutes earlier and adjusted my plans accordingly. Upon arrival, I was informed the tour would not be private, and the originally scheduled guide did not show. I was explicitly promised a 50% refund immediately after the tour to account for the discrepancy in service. I followed up in writing and have received neither a refund nor a response. It has now been 10 days with no resolution. The only communication from TripAdvisor came after I indicated I would pursue a chargeback through my credit card company. This situation reflects a clear failure to deliver the service paid for, compounded by a lack of follow-through and communication. I am still waiting on the promised refund. This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. I will never use TripAdvisor again.

We were travelling with a family of 5 (2 children 7 and 9, mom, dad and grandma) We booked the tour 1,5 hours before the start. They contacted us via phone to ask if we could take a tour earlier, which was no problem. Due to the booking being moved we could not find our guide easily. But the organisation made sure we got to the right place. The guide was very easily understandable, good English, French and German. He was very friendly towards the kids and took the time to get to know them. The overall tour had a cosy vibe. The places we visited were places we would not naturally find as a tourist. So we were very pleased to see this side of the medina. Foods were adjusted for the children when possible. In the first stop we got bread with spices, which was a challenge for our seven year old. The guide arranged a slice of cake for her instead. The walking pace was easy to folllow, even with the children. There was no rush and the guide took the time to engage with everyone on the tour. There was an overload of food of course so the last dish was packed to go. The leftovers from the biscuits and olives were offered to us to take home. Overall a very pleasant experience I would recommend to families even with small children. The tour started at 18:00 and ended back at the starting point at 21:45.

Our two guides were excellent and took great care of us and provided a lot of information about the food as well as culture. They even made sure to accommodate one of us who is vegetarian. Cannot say enough. More than enough to eat. Wonderful experience!

Hassan was an excellent host, and showed us some great spots around the medina for local dishes. He was informative about the history of each dish, and also funny. We tried the sheep’s head too which was surprisingly good. Must do for foodie people!
