We had the most incredible and comprehensive tour with Christos. He picked us up from our hotel. He was early but patiently waited for us while sipping his coffee. It was the best private tour we have ever had in the many years we have been touring. Christos is not a licensed guide so he is not allowed to conduct tours inside the sites. However, Christos briefed us on what to see before we entered each site and this style worked very well for us. The thoughtfulness of having cold water waiting for us from the cooler in his car was truly a life saver and a very caring touch. He seemed to know when to hand out the ice cold drinks! Christos was so generous with his time as he took us to see other interesting sites that were not included in the list. We decided to hire Christos again for a tour of Athens and we parted with Christos as friends. He is a very honest and gentle person. Christos, we were very lucky to have met you, and thank you so very much all the wonderful memories. We will be in touch again!

Our tour guide/driver gave us a fantastic day to experience the Footsteps of Paul in a private and comfortable way. His knowledge, as well as understanding of the best places to see history made our trip to Athens & Corinth very memorable. Thank you!!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with our tour guide Jimmy on our “Footsteps of Apostle Paul” tour. Jimmy was waiting for us at the port and was easily visible as soon as we got off our ship. He walked us over to his comfortable and clean van where he had cold waters waiting for us. He got us on the road but made a quick stop for a nice treat of delicious cappuccinos at his favorite local coffee house. Jimmy was knowledgeable on the area and was able to give us background information on Athens, Corinth, and the Apostle Paul! He even brought a really interesting book that showed what areas would have looked like historically vs what they look like today. Jimmy let us go places at our own pace and was always waiting to greet us with a smile and a cold car and a cold water when we finished touring at each location. We were traveling with our three children ages 15, 13 and 11. Our oldest was excited when Jimmy took us to AcroCorinth because he had been learning about that in the book of Acts. On another note, Jimmys driving was smooth. As someone prone to car sickness I was thankful for that. I felt comfortable driving with my family around a foreign country in Jimmy’s care and I highly recommend this tour.

When we knew we were stopping in Athens on our cruise, we wanted to experience both the places the Apostle Paul visited in Corinth and the sites of Athens. After some looking, we found Greece Taxi. They did a great job helping us plan our visit. On the day of the tour, Christos picked us up right on time and had a great plan for the day. We would see the Corinth Canal and Corinth first then see Athens in the afternoon, to ensure we didn’t have any challenges getting back to the ship. Christos did an amazing job and made the tour even more special by showing videos about ancient Corinth on the drive, giving us maps and books describing the history of the places we would be visiting, giving us some postcards and presents, and even working with us for a quick stop to get some Baklava from his favorite place. What an amazing day, and what made it special was Christos and his passion and friendship. I would definitely recommend Christos and Greek Taxi anytime you are in Athens.

Nikolaos was the best guide we had. He is the very BEST. Knows her stuff, explains it easily, took us where ever we wanted to go. By far our better days during our 10 days all over. I thank him.
