Giacomo (Jack) was the best part of this tour. He made it easy to find him in the middle of crowds of people waiting to get in to the Ufizzi gallery. While the gallery is a great place to experience, it is too much to understand if you don't have a guide. Giacomo (Jack) not only told us the gallery history but included the stories behind the art, sculpture, and architecture. He communicates in a way any non-art expert can understand. He is friendly, personable, and a teacher, all in one. Request Jack ... he's the best!

You have limited time and must have a guide to go through the gallery and have explanations regarding the artists and each period represented. There are thousands of people and our guide moved us into which halls held the must see art.

Incredible tour. It was just 5 of us and we skipped the line . Annette was amazing- so knowledgeable- I learned so much ! It would not have been the same to walk through on my own. Her knowledge and insight made me appreciate and understand the art and the artists. It was awesome!
Tour guide Francesco was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We were the only ones on the tour that day. He spoke very good English and provided a great tour of the museum and told us many facts we would not have known if we had done this on our own. He showed us around the city center and gave us good recommendations for lunch and gelato. Highly recommend.
Our guide Annette was awesome, so knowledgeable about each and every item in the museum. The three hours we spent with her just flew by. We were so glad we took the tour, because we got to see all the highlights, learn so much, and not waste time wandering aimlessly trying to read every single sign. Highly recommended!
