Our tour guide Miguel was fantastic. He was friendly, informative and provided historical information on each attraction. The inverted tower was mesmerizing. Walking through the gardens was so enjoyable. The entire tour was like travelling back through time. The scenic views of the Castle on the mountain and the palaces were truly breathtaking. Although lunch was not included, we stopped at a local authentic Portuguese restaurant. I was awestruck at the stop at the most western point of Europe. The oceanic panoramic views were spectacular. Knowing what I know now, I would definitely book this tour again and I would recommend it to anyone.

Small group size, big experience
Fantastic day with Miguel. Definitely was good value for the price. Was like spending the day with a friend. Miguel was knowledgeable, friendly and easy going. The tour was exactly as described. The sights were incredible. Our lunch spot by the beach was a gem and the fish soup was the best. Would highly recommend.

Day excursion to Sintra

Great way to spend a day!
The trip is incredible and our tour guide was knowledgeable and kind, but do not *and I cannot stress this enough* do not go on this tour if you can’t handle multiple uphill climbs at a medium pace.
My mom is in good shape, but she is 70 and we felt guilty about slowing down the group at times. The guide and our trip mates were kind and encouraging, they never made us feel badly about it but on reflection we might’ve been better off with a private tour that we could set the pace for.
That being said, we LOVED the itinerary, enjoyed the company of the other travelers (and the ease of having other people to take a picture for you without flagging down a complete stranger), and Miguel (Miguel the guide, not the owner who is also Miguel)- I would spend the day learning from him and spending time in his presence any day of the week. Some people just have a gift for making you feel welcome and cared for and he went above and beyond to help my mom enjoy the trip despite the long, uphill walks.
Also, pro-tip: bring a portable fan! Made a huge difference on a beautiful but very warm day.

I loved this tour from...
I loved this tour from start to finish. The stops, the history and cultural background, and food recommendations that Miguel provided were all top notch. Miguel was not only very knowledgeable but was also an amazing host. He was always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the day. As a solo traveler, I particularly enjoyed the group dynamics that Miguel helped to foster. I’ve never had a tour group where everyone just vibed so well. Truly a wonderful day!

This tour provides a...
This tour provides a better feel for the Sintra area than what I perceive to be the case with other similar tours. It includes lunch at a coastal town and a visit to the westernmost point of continental Europe instead of spending time in swankier Cascais. I liked that. The tours are limited to 8 people, which I also liked. Miguel, the tour guide and owner of the company, did a great job of making the day a great experience for all attendees.

Sintra Day Trip
We had such a great day trip to Sintra! The whole day was really well organized and made it so easy to see so much without having to worry about transportation or planning everything ourselves. Sintra is absolutely beautiful, and we loved getting to explore the different stops and learn more about the history along the way. Our guide, Miguel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day really enjoyable. It was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Portugal and such an easy way to experience Sintra if you only have one day. Would absolutely recommend!

An unbelievable day in Sintra
What a wonderful day! Miguel really knew all about Sintra, the Architecture and the history, he took us too a secret beach restaurant and special local dessert treats, it made for a fun day and his planning helped us navigate without the crowds. Miguel helped make this experience in Sintra unforgettable. A day to cherish for a lifetime. We highly recommend this trip . We travelled with teenagers all were engaged throughout the trip. Miguel made sure we were well taken care of. Enjoy
