We boarded Harmonia in Rhodes New Marina on a very unsteady 2 planks that rested on a wooden pallet and we had to climb over a rail. That was just the start. We had no communication from the captain following a message we had all received that the itinerary was likely to change due to weather conditions. The captain didn’t join us for the welcome dinner but spoke to us briefly after the meal. He said we would just have to wait and see what would happen with the weather and we should stay positive. He was quick to take our €150 each for port fees for which we received no receipt.
The cabin was much smaller than I expected. I was supposed to sleep on the top bunk, with my friend in the double bed below. There was no way I could get up there, so we used the bunk for our luggage and had to share the double bed.
We sailed to Symi the following day and did have swim stops on the way. I cut and badly bruised my legs on the poorly designed steps into the water. I wasn’t the only one. The snorkelling equipment was dirty and very mismatched and old. I didn’t bother using it.
We stopped in 3 ports on Symi but were told on Tuesday that we couldn’t go to the other islands due to the weather.
We went back to Rhodes early Wednesday morning. We were moored for three nights next to a building site.
The company did arrange coach trips to different towns around Rhodes on the following two days but this wasn’t what we expected.
Obviously the company are not accountable for the weather but gave us such bad communication throughout.
My friend and I had paid £150 for nighttime air conditioning in our cabin. When we were stuck in Rhodes for 3 nights, the other guests asked for air conditioning in their cabins as a goodwill gesture, which was given. When I asked for a refund for our payment, we were first offered 2 free drinks each. When I refused that we were offered a free transfer to the airport. We received this offer when we were already at the airport and we had already paid in advance for our transfers.
I have to mention that the three crew members and especially Farris were very friendly and helpful at all times. The food was very good.
However I would never use Sail In Greece again.

Bad experience
Having recently returned from a sailing holiday on the Harmonia with Sail with Greece, unfortunately, due to a combination of bad weather, bad communication and organising from the company and a very unfriendly captain, the trip turned out to be a bit of a distater.
On the afternoon of Saturday 12th September 2026, we were informed by their Customer Support team that we would be unable to sail as planned on the morning of Sunday 13th Sept due to adverse weather conditions.
As you can imagine we were disappointed to hear this news but continued to board the boat on the Saturday as instructed.
We were told by the captain at this point that in fact it would probably be Tuesday or Wednesday before we would sail as the weather conditions at sea were not good for several days.
At this point, we were asked by the captain to hand over the 300 euros port fees by the captain.
We paid extra monies when booking our holiday for a standard plus cabin which we were told were the bigger cabins on the boat. This was not true as in fact we had one of the smallest cabins (Cabin 3).
If the captain knew we were not going anywhere until the Tuesday/Wednesday, why did the company still put us on the boat? We would have been better off kept in a hotel.
The boat was moored next to an area that had a lot of building work going on, which was noisy, dusty, and not great to look at!
The captain of the boat had no people skills! He was abrupt, grumpy and had very little interaction with us for the entire holiday. He didn’t join us for the Captain’s dinner except for a photo and did not even come on deck to say goodbye as we left the boat on the Saturday morning.
The rest of the crew were very friendly, especially Farris.
Why did we still have to pay 300 euros port fees when we only had a 3 day cruise. The captain couldn’t collect these quick enough!
The swim stops on the 3 day cruise were terrible. We were too far away from shore, the sea was choppy, the stairs leading into the water were not suitable for most of the guests onboard, and the snorkelling equipment provided had not been cleaned in weeks!
All in all, the entire experience was very disappointing and although there is absolutely nothing that can be done in regard to the weather conditions, I feel that the company should have pre-empted and had a contingency plan for such occurrences. Communication and lack of organisation from the company was evident.

Perfect for water lovers
What a wonderful time! This cruise allows you to visit different islands near Rhodes, swim, and enjoy the sea. It’s perfect if you thrive in water and don’t need to stay in one place for multiple days. We saw beautiful towns and bays. They serve a simple yet filling breakfast and a delicious lunch each day, made by the chef on board. Lunch was always amazing with so many options. Each night you are free to explore the port and get dinner at a taverna of your choice. The crew was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a lovely time.

Endless swimming & relaxation 🌊🌞
We had a great week on the Harmonia exploring the Dodecanese islands. We enjoyed hours of swimming in crystal blue waters, and exploring beautiful quiet port towns at night. The crew is wonderful - the chef makes delicious lunches for the group every day, and the steward and boat engineer are also so kind and available. They really make it a great experience. We will definitely be back!

An incredible week
We spent an unforgettable week aboard the gulet, exploring some of the most beautiful islands of the Dodecanese. Crystal clear sea, white coasts, dream bays, wonderful landscapes and excellent food. A special thanks to the captain, professional, competent and always attentive to our safety. Compliments again to the whole crew, always available, courteous and smiling, and to the chef who delighted us every day with his delicious dishes. Every meal was a special convivial moment that contributed to making this vacation memorable. We felt pampered and welcomed from the very first moment.
It is certainly a trip that we will carry in our hearts. Thanks again!

An incredible week
The boat is truly beautiful, a 25-meter gulet that took us around the main islands of the Dodecanese. The crew is composed of an excellent cook who cooked every day for 14 people, an all-around bartender who prepares excellent drinks and was always ready to support us, and a quick, agile sailor who gave us a great sense of security. Then there is the captain, Lambrados, a Greek sea dog who skillfully gave us a welcoming and safe vacation.
The trip was beautiful and allowed us to see magnificent places. Beaches lapped by an incredible turquoise sea, super impressive coves, and places that we didn't imagine still existed here in Greece!
What can I say, highly recommended!

Rhodes Harmonia
Beautiful experience, the food is very good and the crew is very kind. The sea is very beautiful and one of the things I liked most is the dinners out because they were always in a different place.
