This tour exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide Elvis was fantastic! The tour was the highlight of our vacation.

Very informative and light hearted. Learnt some things about the film and area. Halstaad was very pretty. Our guide, Laura, was very knowledgeable and also kept you engaged with some humour.

We spent a full 8-hour day with Elvis on the SOM & Hallstatt tour, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Elvis kept us engaged with his wonderful storytelling, local history and sense of humour. He also took photos of us throughout the tour. We appreciated the small group size, just seven of us which made the experience feel personal and relaxed, with less time spent boarding and disembarking. The only minor downside was that we were seated at the back of the van for the entire trip, so our views weren’t quite as good as they might have been from a higher coach bus. That said, we appreciated the more intimate experience of a small group tour. Highly recommend Elvis and Bob’s Special Tours!

This tour with Elvis was the highlight of visiting Salzburg. He was knowledgeable, friendly, considerate, and overall amazing. The tour was perfectly paced, and we were able to see a lot. I would definitely recommend doing this if you plan to visit Salzburg!!

What a great day. Francesca was a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable. It made it as we were a small party and so could experience it better. The weather helped. It is definitely a must do when in Salzburg.

The small group tour is a great experience. The guide brought us closer to the filming sites with detailed explanation of the history of the locations. He also explain the differences between real life Von Trapp family and the movie. The tour feels more personalised than the big bus tours. Hallstatt is a beautiful town but it’s very crowded even in the low season. The cable car is closed during our visit. Overall a very good experience.

This tour is everything you would want and more to maximize your time in Salzburg. The small group guaranteed we got all the Sound of Music photos we wanted. The drives were not too long and we had the perfect amount of time in Hallstatt. Our guide Marcus was a wealth of information- not just about The Sound of Music and Hallstatt but about Salzburg and Austria history, architecture, entertainment and food! Great tour all around!!
