Perfect balance of history and relaxation for couples
I went with my partner and we both loved it. The tour balanced history and relaxation well. The GEM is a highlight modern and full of treasures. The pyramids we did a horse carriage ride which was romantic. The Nile cruise had a beautiful sundeck and we spent hours there. The guide was informative and funny. We visited the Philae Temple and the boat ride to it was lovely. The staff on the cruise were attentive and the cabin was comfortable. The included flight was smooth. Surprise anniversary trip that turned magical quickly
I surprised my wife with this trip and she cried at the pyramids. We did the 7 day tour and it was magical. The GEM is still new and the collection is staggering we spent half a day there. The pyramids at sunset with a private car and driver arranged by the guide felt VIP. The camel ride was fun my wife was scared but the handler was gentle. On the cruise we had a room with a balcony and we sat out there every evening. The guide took us to a local market in Aswan and helped us bargain. We bought spices and a small statue. The staff on the cruise remembered our names and always greeted us with smiles. The whole trip felt personal and well thought out. Worth every penny.

Solo traveler found community and ancient wonders
I went solo and joined a group of other travelers. The tour was well organized and I never felt lost. The GEM is a highlight for sure the massive Ramses statue welcomes you and the inside is full of treasures. I spent a lot of time in the Tutankhamun exhibit. The pyramids we visited early morning to beat the heat and crowds. Our guide Mohamed was funny and took great photos for us. On the cruise I had a single cabin which was small but clean. The shared meals were nice because I got to know people. We visited Kom Ombo temple unique because it’s dedicated to two gods. The staff on the cruise were cheerful and the food was plentiful. For a solo traveler looking for company and culture this tour is ideal.

Multi generational trip that pleased both kids and grandparents
We took our three kids and grandparents on this tour. It worked well because the pace is moderate. The GEM has elevators and ramps so the grandparents managed fine. The pyramids we did a short carriage ride instead of camels for the older ones. The kids loved the sound and light show. The Nile cruise had cabins on the lower deck for easy access and the staff helped with wheelchairs when needed. We visited the temples and our guide tailored the explanations for both kids and grandparents. The food on the cruise had options for everyone including milder dishes. The domestic flight saved us from long drives. The staff were patient and accommodating. This tour is great for multi generational families.
