I spent a week in Bhutan on a solo trip, guided by Sangay and Khandu. I cannot speak more highly of their hospitality, thoughtfulness, knowledge, and respect! The trip was great value, and the guides knew exactly how to get the best photos, avoid crowds, and even cater unique experiences for me like a one-on-one blessing and conversation with a monk. I would recommend anyone (solo, family, couple, friends, etc) to tour Bhutan with Bhutan Best Travel.

We took the 5-day trip and everything was so smooth. The guides Khandu and Lotay are experts, friendly, accommodating to our requests and very experienced. The hotels we stayed at were carefully arranged for our honeymoon. They ensured that we were taken care of throughout our trip. The highlight would be the hike to Tiger’s Nest which the guides did with us too. It was a spectacular experience.

We recently returned from an amazing trip to Bhutan with Bhutan Best Travel. Everything was smooth and well organised from start to finish, but what truly made the trip special were our guide, Sangay, and our driver, Pema. Sangay’s knowledge of Bhutanese history seemed endless, and he shared stories of monasteries, fortresses, and valleys in an engaging and easy way. It felt less like a history lesson and more like a friend proudly introducing his country. His sense of humour and cheerful personality kept us entertained throughout the trip, making long drives and hikes feel much easier. He was also very attentive, always knowing when we needed a break or a photo stop, and often helped capture our favourite moments as our photographer. Our driver, Pema, deserves special mention too. He must have driven these mountain roads hundreds of times, yet he approached every journey with patience and professionalism. We were always greeted by a clean and tidy vehicle, no matter how dusty the roads had been the day before. It may seem like a small detail, but after long days of sightseeing, it was something we really appreciated. There are so many special memories from this trip, but one that stands out happened on our 3rd night, coincided with Vesak Day. From the viewpoint of our hotel in Punakha, there's a full moon rise over the valley. The night was incredibly peaceful, the moonlight, surrounding mountains, and twinkling lights below created a scene that felt almost unreal! The hike to Tiger’s Nest and the Mini Tiger’s Nest also remains one of the clearest memories we brought home from Bhutan. What made the experience truly memorable, however, was seeing the country through the eyes of people who genuinely love it. My son and I just came back from a trip to Bhutan with Bhutan Best Travel and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The tour was extremely well organized and communication prior to arrival via WhatsApp was easy and fast. They took care of our visas and flights (we flew in from Singapore) which was helpful as the flights could not be booked online. A special thank you to our guide Sangay and our driver Khandu. Both of them truly went beyond their roles throughout the trip. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and light-hearted which made every day enjoyable. They constantly thought a step ahead about what we might need and did their best to avoid crowds so we could fully enjoy each destination peacefully. We learned a lot about Bhutanese culture and Buddhism and thoroughly enjoyed the hiking, stunning scenery and peaceful nature. The itinerary was very well planned, but they were also flexible and quick to adapt when weather conditions required changes. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Bhutan Best Travel to anyone visiting Bhutan!

We had some of the best guides we could ever ask for, sharing deep knowledge and wisdom about Buddhism and the culture of the country. We also stayed in very nice and clean hotels — not overly luxurious, but filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. The food was fantastic as well, especially for those who enjoy spicy cuisine, something many Asians can easily relate to. Over the 7 days and 6 nights, we created many fond memories through trekking, exploring, and enjoying the local food and culture. The weather in April is just perfect — not too cold and ideal for trekking and spending time in nature. You don’t need to wear too many layers, yet it never feels too hot during the day. Excellent private tour of Bhutan. The itinerary was very well organized, the hotels were great, and the whole experience felt smooth and stress-free. Our guides, Dorji and Tashi, were both extremely kind, helpful, flexible, and always attentive to what we wanted to do each day. They made the trip much more enjoyable. What stayed with us most, though, were not just the places we saw, but the conversations we had. Over time, those conversations turned into inside jokes and a genuine sense of connection that made each day feel personal and joyful. By the end of the trip, it felt less like we had a guide and more like we were traveling with a friend. Our driver was equally outstanding—consistently safe, steady, and reliable on roads that demand real skill and care. Together, they made an incredible team: both unfailingly professional, attentive, and deeply committed to making our experience seamless. I truly miss seeing them every day, which says everything about the kind of presence they brought to our journey.

We are captured by the beauty of Bhutan, the way of life, the sincere Bhutanese hospitality from our guide Sonam and driver Pema. No request is unattended. Every detail is taken care of for our comfort. Their care and concern certainly makes our Bhutan trip a truly unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience to the ‘first negative carbon country in the world’ & where ‘GNH guides all development process’. We are humbled by the Bhutanese hospitality, effort to preserve their tradition, sincere spirituality, reverence for their King. Bhutan Best Travel was meticulous in all its arrangements by the knowledgeable guide Sonam & careful driver Pema, from the picnic tea & biscuits during the hikes, dinner in a local farmhouse, Paro Tshechu on final day graced by His Majesty The King. It was a most memorable trip for us.

We did not know what to expect when we landed in Bhutan but it turned out to be a great adventure. Guided by the knowledgeable, bubbly and friendly Ms Kinley and driven around by the warm and knowledgeable Mr Pee Dee, we had a fantastic time. The itinerary was great and the hotels we stayed in were fantastic. The highlight of the trip was our 6 hours hike up and down Tiger’s Nest. My knee caps and feet will forever remember this haha. Also, the Bhutanese food like ezay, momos and ema datshi are a must try! Thanks to Kinley and Pee Dee for introducing them. Overall, we had a fantastic time in Bhutan, all thanks to Kinley and Pee Dee and of course Bhutan Best.
