Oh man, our guide Simeon was such a great guide. This tour is amazing. He picked us up promptly from our hotel base. The rafting was amazing! We met some local Bulgarians in our raft. We had lunch in a small town called Simitli We ended up bumping into the same rafting crew and had such an amazing lunch together. Simeon is absolutely incredible. My goodness what a fun day out(and so different)
We were 5 friends who booked this together, and everyone had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were picked up outside the apartment we were staying in and the driver we had was top notch with service and we had fun conversations during the rafting. On the rafting there were good instructors who provided good training and tips so that anyone who has not tried this before will feel safe the whole way. Our instructor was funny and clear in what he said, so that the whole experience went like a dream. Of course, there has been little rain in the lead up to our rafting, so the water level is far from what it is at its peak in the spring, but this was a fantastic experience.
