I had an absolutely brilliant experience on the guided hike to the Seven Rila Lakes, and a huge part of that was down to my guide, Anna. From the very beginning, everything was incredibly well organised. The pick-up was easy and seamless, and Anna was professional, friendly and personable from the moment I met her. She made me feel completely comfortable straight away and was genuinely such a pleasure to spend the day with. The hike itself was amazing, but Anna really made the experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and taught me so much about the area, the lakes, the mountains, and the history and culture of Bulgaria. She was always happy to answer my questions and had a great way of explaining things that made everything really interesting without ever feeling like a lecture. She also did a fantastic job of making sure I was comfortable throughout the hike, while still allowing me to enjoy the experience at my own pace. Her enthusiasm and passion for the area really came across, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure I had the best possible day. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Anna went above and beyond, and she deserves all the praise. If you’re considering doing the Seven Rila Lakes hike, I would 100% recommend booking it — and hopefully you get Anna! She made what was already going to be a memorable day into an absolutely brilliant one. Thank you so much, Anna — I had an unforgettable day!

We had a wonderful experience climbing Mount Rila and witnessing the beauty of the 7 rila lakes. Our guide Lyuboslav was extremely friendly, humorous, and experienced on the hike. He was patient with us and pushed us to reach all 7 lakes at our own pace, which we eventually did, and are very grateful to have done so. I would recommend both the experience and our guide. Thank you for a wonderful day hiking through the mountains.

We can honestly say that hiking the Rila mountains and the seven lakes was the highlight of our trip and exceeded all expectations. The whole day was very well organised and Anna our guide was the best, extremely knowledgeable and so very friendly and engaging. We had a great time and would definitely be in touch with Anna and Bultrips if we find ourselves visiting Bulgaria again. Thanks again to Anna for making our break perfect!

I went on this hike August 29th. Meto was my guide. He is very knowledgeable about the area. He has a great respect for nature and the area. He made the hike very entertaining and informative. Pick up and transportation was very easy. I would highly recommend METO as a guide as well! He knew the best routes to stay away from the crowds and the best spots for taking pictures. This hike was a great way to see nature and the beauty that Bulgaria has to offer.I would recommend this to any one who loves nature. likes to hike/walk and is in moderate shape.

The hike was enjoyable, and the view was great. time management was good, we were back in Sofia earlier than expected.

We have done Hiking the 7 Rila lakes. It was an awesome experience. Our tour guide Adrian was really wonderful encouraging motivating. Thanks to him we managed to climb up to the 6th lake which was still frozen. It was an amazing experience as the mood of nature changing every minute from foggy to cloudy to sunshine.

I have visited the Rila mouintain with tour operators Vladimir and Adrian. They were very friendly and we had amazing time together! Thank you guys for this unforgettable experience! :) I can recommend it to everyone who loves hiking in the beautiful nature.

With skis in winters, or by foot in summers, already more than 20 years is one of my favorite spots for escaping the city. It is so close.
