We loved our safari in Kenya with Leopard Orchid Safaris! Booking the tour went smoothly with quick responses to our questions and we appreciated the flexibility in choosing lodging that best met our needs. Our guide, Francis, did an exceptional job taking care of every detail. He made sure we knew the plans each day and what to expect as situations changed. His knowledge of the wildlife and parks is very impressive and we learned so much about Kenya, too. Experience of a lifetime!

Having Sami as our guide for our safari in Tsavo East and Amboseli was an absolute highlight of our trip to Kenya. From day one, he set the gold standard for professionalism. He was remarkably punctual every single morning, ensuring we maximize our time out in the wild without ever making us feel rushed or stressed. Sami is extraordinarily friendly and possesses a warm, welcoming nature that immediately puts you at ease. What we appreciated most was his relaxed, no-pressure approach. Safari days can be long, but Sami’s easygoing presence made every moment enjoyable and comfortable. He respected our pace and created a completely hassle-free environment throughout the journey. When it comes to wildlife knowledge, Sami is a true expert. His keen eyes spotted animals long before we could, from the iconic red elephants of Tsavo East to the magnificent herds set against Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli. He shared fascinating insights into animal behaviors, bird species, and local ecosystems with genuine passion, turning every game drive into a deeply enriching learning experience. Sami’s combination of expertise, kindness, and flawless reliability made our safari unforgettable. We could not have asked for a better guide to explore Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes. I’ve been to Kenya three times and Tanzania twice, but this Kenya safari was by far the most enjoyable! Leopard Tours, Martin and our guide Sammy were all fantastic. We had an absolutely wonderful time on our Kenya trip. First of all, we want to thank Martin for all the pre-trip planning and communication. He was a major reason why we finally chose Lepo over many other tour operators — the great impression Martin left on us stood out the most. Our guide Sammy was outstanding throughout the 6-day safari. He was highly professional, patient and sincere. He took wonderful care of us during the whole journey, and shared so much knowledgeable insight about the wildlife. This trip turned out to be truly unforgettable. We have met many guides across Africa, and Sammy is without a doubt one of the best we have ever had.

Safe, assured, happy, enjoyable and did exactly what they promised 5/5 We were skeptical initially coming from India for the first visit to Kenya. However, Leopard Orchid Safari team put us at ease the moment we arrived at Nairobi airport. Paul, our guide and driver was so safe, calm and efficient, his knowledge of the roads and the terrain was so comforting, we felt extremely safe with his presence. Ambolesi was awesome with the tuskers, the observatory hill gave a great voew of the park, Lake Naivasha was a treat with the hippos and visit to Cresent Island where we could walk with the girafees and zebras (at a safe distance). Navararu stay was superb with great views of Meninghi crater, we had a great walk to the crater with George our walking guide (George of the Jungle!), Masai mara was a treat with the Lions, Cheetahs, the best part of the visit was the Hot air ballon ride with Mohammed, the pilot and the 5-star Champagne breakfast in the middle of the safari. The ride back to Nairabi was smooth, we are so thankful to Leopard Orchid Safaris and especially to Paul for making this once in a lifetime trip so memorable

Excellent arrangements, well planned trip from airport pickup to dropping us back in Nairobi airport. We were recieved by the friendly staff, special mention to Michael, James. We had the best guide and driver, Paul. Hot air balloon experience was mind-blowing which ended with a champagne breakfast in the bush. We were able to see wild animals around while having this unique breakfast experience. Seeing wildlife very close was exciting and thrilling. Hotels we were put up was great as well. Sopa lodges in Amboseli and Masai mara had the best cottages, food options were great for vegetarians as well. I would definitely recommend Leopard Orchid safari to anyone planning to visit Kenya. Overall, a wonderful, unique experience. Thanks to our tour organisers.

Where do I begin! We had the most incredible time on safari in Kenya with Leopard Orchid across an 8 day trip. The service and care that we received was outstanding. When I booked it I did not really know what to expect as we had never done a similar trip before. We were met at the airport by the team and given a wonderful welcome and introduced to our safari guide, Paul. This review is really all about Paul! He was the best guide we could have possibly asked for. We went to Amboseli, Navaisha, Masai Mara and Nakuru with Paul driving us across Kenya and then on game drives in the parks. His knowledge of the country and animals was amazing and elevated the trip for us. His care and passion for the wildlife and environment around him was clear to see and his passion for the animals was infectious! The information that he shared while on the game drives was so engaging- whether we had just seen on of the big five or an unexpected animal encounter. Paul had a wonderful passion for bird watching that we soon shared! He was incredibly conscious of making sure we saw all the animals that we wanted to see but we did not request this- he just did it with his vast experience and knowledge of game driving. He made recommendations and advice on when to go on the drives to maximise chances of sightings and we were always happy to oblige! Due to his experience, kindness and attentiveness- we trusted whatever he decided. He also knew so many people across Kenya in all different towns and parks which we loved! We were able to not just experience safari but also see the beautiful country of Kenya. Being able to spend so much time with Paul and getting to know him was awesome- what an absolute legend! The hotels we chose were in the mid-level bracket and I am happy that we actually didn’t go for the more expensive options as we were out for such huge parts of the day, we barely spent any time at the hotels- the value for money was excellent. When booking them and contacting Victor, he was so attentive and responsive to queries and questions it was just excellent. Overall, I will be recommend Leopard Orchid to any friends and family that plan on doing a safari. I can’t imagine doing it with anyone else- they gave us the best honeymoon and we will be forever grateful! Paul is the boss!

We had an amazing safari experience from start to finish! Communication before the trip was smooth, and all of our questions were answered quickly. We also received a very warm welcome with an airport pickup on the day we arrived, which made us feel well taken care of from the very beginning. Our guide, Peter, was outstanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife and taught us so much about the animals and their behavior. He was always enthusiastic about tracking wildlife and did his best to help us find as many animals as possible. Thanks to his experience, we were able to enjoy many unforgettable wildlife sightings. The entire journey was relaxed, enjoyable, and full of wonderful memories. We highly recommend this company and especially Peter to anyone planning a safari in Kenya!

We just ended our 7 days safari that was an incredible experience from the organisation with Elijah to the safari with Lawrence ! Elijah answered to all my question and was really helpful. lodges were all very good. Lawrence was an exceptionnal guide, we have seen so many animals and were often the only ones on amazing spots ! He is fun and answered to all our needs. We just want to come back to do another trip with him to discover more about kenya. We recommend the trip from amboseli with elephants and kilimandjaro, to naivasha with its hippos and walking safari, to nakuru with beautiful lake and rhinos, and finally masai mara with the lions.
