Recently, we visited Nepal and booked a one-day UNESCO World Heritage Sites tour in Kathmandu through Relax Getaways. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Great experience thanks to the tour guide Sajan Khadka and the driver. Very interactive and had excellent knowledge of the city and heritage sites that made the trip much more interesting and fun. Great weather and polite people all around.

An unforgettable day exploring Kathmandu’s 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites—easily one of the most powerful and enriching travel experiences I’ve had. The day was filled with history, culture, and emotion, from breathtaking temples and fascinating museums to the deeply moving cremation sites along the river. What truly set this experience apart was my guide, Sudhir. He was exceptional—knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate. He didn’t just explain the history, but also shared meaningful cultural context that made everything come alive in a way I couldn’t have experienced on my own. He also recommended an incredible local lunch that ended up being one of my favorite meals in Nepal. Thanks to Sudhir, I walked away with a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Kathmandu. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

We had a great experience on this Nepal heritage tour. We visited Swayambhunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changunarayan Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. We skipped Kathmandu Durbar Square since it was close to our hotel and we had already explored it the day before. The tour was very convenient, especially because there are different time slots available, allowing you to choose how you want to start your day. Visiting 7 heritage sites in one day is perfect, but my advice is to manage your time wisely. Every location is beautiful, photogenic  and worth exploring, so try not to spend too long in one amazing place if you want to comfortably see everything within the approximate 8-hour tour. A special thank you to Sudhir, who was amazing company throughout the day. He was incredibly patient with us, made sure we had enough time at each location, and helped us find the best viewpoints, most interesting spots, and the most photogenic areas. He definitely made the experience even better! Thank you so much, I hope when we come back, you’ll be our guide again

Amazing day in Kathmandu - Sajan was a very knowledgeable and great guide, he made this day very memorable, interesting and fun. The sites visited are the most interesting ones, so it’s a great and efficient way to explore Kathmandu. I travelled alone, and this felt safe and was very enjoyable!
