We had a couple of extra days in Kathmandu after our successful hike to Everest Base Camp. We used that time to experience the local temples and monuments in and around Kathmandu. Ram was our local tour guide for those two days. What an experience was it to have Ram take us through the history, the prominence of the historical sites and the cultural significance that still play. His knowledge is vast and he knows exactly to dial in or out of the details based on the audience/clients interests. We really appreciated the customization he provided for us during the tour. He even proposed an additional few more historical places after realizing our interests at no additional cost. We were super glad to have him as our guide. He also knows where to get authentic and quality local shopping goods such as Buddha Statue, music and healing bowls, metal carving, wood carving, handicrafts etc. He also has good recommendations for local and international cuisine. We got lucky in funding him. I highly recommend his services for authentic Kathmandu experience if your travels bring to Kathmandu.

This is a great tour where you get to see many temples at a relaxed pace, some offering very nice views. At the end you can try some of the local cuisine.

As a female solo traveller Ram had my best interests at heart at all times I def recommend if you want an honest trusting person

I found Ram through a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I chose him as my guide in Kathmandu. He was very friendly and, after understanding my preferences, suggested several travel plans for me to choose from. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle before arriving in Kathmandu, but Ram was very caring and patiently accompanied me throughout the two-day trip. He is also highly knowledgeable about Nepal's history and recommended several great local restaurants. I feel very lucky to have had him as my guide during my stay in Kathmandu.
